Abstract:
A positioning control system for positioning a moving element on a basis of position command data is provided with a feedback loop. The system is also provided with a loop gain modifier for determining a loop gain, which is to be used in a following positioning operation, on a basis of a difference between an amount of overshoot measured in a current positioning operation and a predetermined tolerance or on a basis of a difference between an amount of overshoot measured in a current positioning operation and a first predetermined tolerance and a difference between an amount of undershoot measured in the current positioning operation and a second predetermined tolerance. The first and second tolerances may preferably be the same in absolute value. The moving element may specifically be a steerable mirror for drilling holes in a work by reflecting a laser beam. Also disclosed is a laser drilling machine including the system.

The present invention is directed to a toner binder for developing electrostatic charge images, which binder comprises a condensation-polymerization polyester resin, the polyester resin being a product formed in the presence of a catalyst (a) represented by the following general formula (I): Ti(—X)m(—OR)n (I) wherein R, X, m and n are as defined herein.
Abstract:
There is provided a conductive polymer having a high electrical conductivity and an excellent heat resistance. Using it as a solid electrolyte, there is provided a solid electrolyte capacitor having a low ESR and a large capacitance with good reliability under a hot condition. A monomer mixture of 2,3-dihydro-thieno[3,4-b][1,4]dioxin and 2-alkyl-2,3-dihydro-thieno[3,4-b][1,4]dioxin at a mixture ratio of 0.05:1 to 1:0.1 by the molar ratio is polymerized in the presence of an organic sulfonic acid, and the organic sulfonic acid is included as a dopant. As the 2-alkyl-2,3-dihydro-thieno[3,4-b][1,4]dioxin, the alkyl portion can be methyl, ethyl, propyl or butyl.
Abstract:
A multi-piece oil ring is provided in which, even after long-term operation of an engine, adhesion and deposition of oil sludge are prevented, sticking of components does not occur, and a high oil control function can be maintained. The multi-piece oil ring includes a spacer expander and a pair of upper and lower side rails supported by the spacer expander. To achieve the above features, at least side faces of the side rails that face the spacer expander are coated with a fluorine-containing coating, and the spacer expander is coated with a metal coating. The angle of contact (θ1) of a paraffin-based lubricating oil with the portions of the side rails at 150° C. that are coated with the fluorine-containing coating is 50° or larger, and the angle of contact (θ2) of the paraffin-based lubricating oil with the portion of the spacer expander at 150° C. that is coated with the metal coating is 10 to 50°. The difference between θ1 and θ2 (θ1-θ2) is 30° or larger.
Abstract:
A fuel cell configuration operable to provide a more uniform heat distribution within the fuel cell configuration is disclosed. A reactant gas, liquid or suspended solid (slurry) is circulated through the fuel cell configuration in such a manner that inherently hotter portions of the fuel cell are cooled. The more uniform heat distribution can enhance fuel cell life and operating characteristics.
Abstract:
An object attribute is determined with respect to an object and a determination is performed as to whether or not to execute image cache processing in response to the object attribute. By switching processing in accordance with this, execution of time-consuming image specifying processing is kept to a necessary minimum and performance reductions can be avoided. Furthermore, cache registration is avoided for images having low reusability, which achieves improvements in cache usage efficiency and improvements in cache search efficiency, thereby enabling performance to be improved.
Abstract:
A fuel cell bundle includes a plurality of columnar fuel cell stacks extending in a first direction that are disposed spaced apart so that side surfaces thereof face each other, the fuel cell stacks each having a first gas flow channel along the first direction and also having a plurality of series-connected fuel cells disposed side-by-side in a second direction intersected by the first direction; a connecting member for electrically connecting series-connected fuel cells of a fuel cell stack with series-connected fuel cells of a fuel cell stack adjacent thereto; and a second gas flow channel regulating member for forming a second gas flow channel along the first gas flow channel between itself and the connecting member, the connecting member and the second gas flow channel regulating member being disposed between the adjacent fuel cell stacks.
Abstract:
Provided is a transmission gate capable of adapting to various input voltages to attain high S/N characteristics. The transmission gate includes: a PMOS transistor (11) which includes a drain to which an input voltage (Vin) is input, is turned ON when a voltage (Vin−Vs1) is input to a gate thereof, and includes a source from which the input voltage (Vin) is output as an output voltage (Vout); and an NMOS transistor (12) which has a gate length, a gate width, a gate oxide thickness, and an absolute value of a threshold voltage which are the same as those of the PMOS transistor (11), includes a drain to which the input voltage (Vin) is input, is turned ON when a voltage (Vin+Vs1) is input to a gate thereof, and includes a source from which the input voltage (Vin) is output as the output voltage (Vout).
Abstract:
In an apparatus for accommodating and multiplexing asynchronous client signals in which an idle signal is defined, the transmission side transmits client signals after synchronizing the client signals by inserting or removing, with reference to a specific client signal, an idle signal to/from the same type of another client signal, and in the receiving side, a PLL part is shared by recovering a clock from a client signal and distributing the clock for another client signal.
