摘要: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided to facilitate the determination of the timing advances of each of a plurality of component carriers by triggering the determination of the timing advances in response to certain pre-defined events that are indicative of a need for the timing advance to be determined. A method may include determining that a pre-defined event has occurred and triggering a determination of a timing advance for a second component carrier relative to a timing advance of a first component carrier based upon occurrence of the predefined event. In this regard, both the component carriers are concurrently allocated to a mobile terminal. The method may also utilize the timing advance to synchronize communications on the second component carrier between the mobile terminal and a network. A corresponding apparatus and computer program product may also be provided.

摘要: A timing advance TA for a second component carrier CC is determined in dependence on a difference value that is indicated in wireless signaling between a network and a user equipment UE, in which the second CC and a first CC is allocated to the UE simultaneously. The determined TA is utilized to synchronize wireless communications on the second CC between the network and the UE. In exemplary embodiments: the difference value is a difference between times at which downlink transmissions were sent on the first and second CCs, and determining comprises solving for the TA for the second CC utilizing the signaled difference value in at least one algorithm; the difference value may be signaled in a MAC message or via RRC signaling, and the second CC may be an extension carrier. Apparatus, methods and programs are detailed for the UE and for the network access node/eNB.

摘要: A method includes determining one of a multiplicity of subframes in a resource space in which a shortened subframe is to be communicated. Each of the subframes has a predetermined number of symbol positions. The resource space includes the multiplicity of subframes. The method includes communicating the shortened subframe in the determined subframe. The shortened subframe has a multiplicity of active symbols at first symbol positions in the determined subframe and has a multiplicity of blanked symbols at second symbol positions in the determined subframe. In an embodiment, each of the subframes is a first subframe carried on subcarrier. The resource space corresponds to a special subframe in a frame including the special subframe and a multiplicity of second subframes. The special subframe and the plurality of second subframes are located in different timeslots. Apparatus, computer programs, and program products are also disclosed.

摘要: The present invention relates to an electrochemical device. The device features an anode constructed of materials such that the device can be chemically recharged. In addition, the device is capable of switching between operating as a fuel cell or as a battery. The switch can occur without cessation of electrical output. In certain aspects of the invention, the device is capable of operating at a temperature of less than 1000° C. Other aspects feature a liquid anode which allows higher output, dispersion of fuel and minimal stresses in an interface comprising the anode. Preferably the anode is a liquid at a temperature of less than 1000° C. The invention also relates to methods for energy conversion in which a continual electrical output can be produced in both the presence of fuel without anode consumption or the absence of fuel.

摘要: A method for synchronizing channels on unlicensed bands is described. The method includes determining whether a SCC channel has started to be used by a first network. The SCC channel is a CA channel shared with at least one other network. In response to determining that the SCC channel has been started to be used by the first network, the UE determines an off duration describing a period since a previous SCC channel ON period. A given channel ON period is a continuous period of use of the given channel by the first network, The method also includes, in response to determining that the off duration is less than a minimum threshold duration, performing fine synchronization based on CRS tracking on the SCC channel using course synchronization parameters of the previous SCC channel ON period. Apparatus and computer readable media are also described.

摘要: The invention allows flexible disabling/enabling of cross-carrier scheduling in carrier-aggregated wireless data transmission. In response to detecting a predetermined disabling indication of cross-carrier scheduling of received carrier aggregated wireless data transmission, the disabling indication targeting subframes allocated to uplink in a first component carrier transmitted from a cross-carrier scheduling cell and to downlink in a second component carrier transmitted from a cross-carrier scheduled cell: a downlink control region in the targeted subframes in the second component carrier is monitored for uplink/downlink grants; and in response to detecting an uplink/downlink grant, the detected uplink/downlink grant is utilized in uplink/downlink scheduling of the targeted subframe in the second component carrier.
