    摘要: A compressor includes a cylinder block having a cylinder bore, a first housing attached to a first end of the cylinder block, a second housing attached to a second end of the cylinder block, a crank chamber defined between the cylinder block and the first housing, a drive plate located in the crank chamber and mounted on a drive shaft, and a piston operably coupled to the drive plate and located in the cylinder bore. The drive plate is tiltable between a maximum inclination position and a minimum inclination position according to a difference between the pressure in the crank chamber and the pressure in the cylinder bore. The cylinder block has a shutter chamber opening to the first end and the second end. A shutter member is accommodated in the shutter chamber. The shutter member is movable between a first position and a second position in response to the inclination of the drive plate to selectively connect and disconnect an external circuit with an suction chamber. The drive plate is held at the minimum inclination position when the shutter member is positioned in the second position. The shutter chamber has a diameter that is constant in an axial direction with respect to the shutter chamber. The shutter member is removably inserted into the shutter chamber from the second end of the cylinder block.

    摘要: A compressor having an internal refrigerant gas passage selectively connected to and disconnected from an external refrigerant circuit separately provided from the compressor is described. The compressor has a plurality of pistons reciprocable in a plurality of cylinder bores in a housing for compressing gas supplied from the external refrigerant circuit to the internal refrigerant gas passage. A drive shaft is rotatably supported by the housing. A swash plate is supported on the drive shaft for integral rotation with inclining motion with respect to the drive shaft. The swash plate is movable between a maximum inclined angle and a minimum inclined angle. The disconnecting device disconnects the internal refrigerant gas passage from the external refrigerant circuit when the swash plate is at the minimum inclined angle. The internal refrigerant gas passage includes a first passage which connects a crank chamber and a suction chamber to deliver the refrigerant gas from the crank chamber to the suction chamber. A control valve detects the pressure in the first passage to control the inclined angle of the swash plate.

The oil separator has a separation member and an oil reserved area. The oil reservoir is defined around an entire circumference of the partition wall which defines the discharge chamber therein. The oil reservoir is formed so as to communicate with the oil reserved area of the oil separator.

    摘要: An oil storage area (45a) is defined on the bottom of a motor chamber (45) of a scroll compressor (1). An oil transfer route (4a) is defined in the portion of a center housing (4) that corresponds to the storage area (45a). Lubricating oil L is separated from the discharged, compressed refrigerant by an oil separator (80) and the lubricating oil L is supplied to the backside of a movable scroll (20) due to a pressure differential within the compress (1). After lubricating a bearing (10), the lubricating oil L is temporarily stored in the storage area (45a) and then is transferred due to a pressure differential to the suction-side of a compression mechanism (21) via the oil transfer route (4a). The lubricating oil L is then transferred to the oil separator (80) together with the compressed refrigerant that is discharged from a compression chamber (32) of the compression mechanism (21). Thus, the lubricating oil L contained in the discharged, compressed refrigerant can be effectively separated from the compressed refrigerant and circulated to and from the back side of the movable scroll (20) in order to lubricate moving parts within the compressor (1) using the pressure differentials within the compressor (1).
