摘要: A voltage-controlled oscillator has a feedback circuit connected to the gate of a transistor which controls a current flowing through an oscillation unit. The feedback circuit applies a voltage depending on the DC voltage of an oscillated signal to the gate of the transistor. When the oscillated signal is reduced in level to lower the DC voltage, the feedback circuit lowers the voltage applied to the gate of the transistor. The current flowing through the oscillation unit is reduced to increase the level of the oscillated signal. When the oscillated signal is increased to increase the DC voltage, the feedback circuit increases the voltage applied to the gate of the transistor. The current flowing through the oscillation unit is increased to reduce the level of the oscillated signal. The feedback process prevents the voltage-controlled oscillator from operating unstably regardless of manufacturing variations of transistors from design values.

摘要: A dynamic latch circuit or a dynamic flip-flop circuit of the present invention includes a transfer gate to be controlled by a clock and provided with a complementary configuration using a P-channel and an N-channel MOS (Metal Oxide Semiconductor) transistor. The transfer gate allows the individual node included in the circuit to fully swing between a high potential power source and a low potential power source. This causes a minimum of decrease to occur in an ON current for driving the respective node and thereby realizes high-speed operation. Further, the balance of the rising time and falling time of an output signal is improved, reducing the deviation of the duty of the output signal from 50%. The circuit is therefore operable with sufficient operation margins at positive- and negative-going edges. Consequently, the entire macrocircuit using the circuit of the present invention can have its operation frequency and therefore power consumption lowered.

摘要: Products having a relatively large thickness such as optical lenses for various industrial applications are molded by an injection molding machine by advancing the screw by operating an injection cylinder for filling metered quantity of a molten resin into a metal mold. The screw is rotated while it is being advanced. A plurality of position setters are provided along the stroke of the screw and their outputs are respectively compared with the output of a screw position detector by using comparators. The outputs of the comparators are used to effect a program control of screw rotation in multistages. According to a modified embodiment, during the filling step effected by screw rotation, the injection speed is varied stepwisely. The injection speed is reduced to zero for a short interval and then increased again. The number of revolutions of the screw, however, is maintained at a constant value until the injection speed is increased again.

摘要: An apparatus applicable to a digital copier, a digital printer, a printer using a mimeograph and others for specifying a desired region of an original document by use of a marking sheet, and erasing, extracting or otherwise editing a portion of the image of the original document which lies in the particular region. An image of the marking sheet read by an image scanner are converted into two-level pixel data. The pixel data are reduced in density before written in a memory, such that pixels are extracted, or thinned, one out of each predetermined number of pixels in each of the column and row address directions of the memory. One of two differnt image modes is selected: a text mode with applies MTF (modulation transfer function) processing to a text document, and a graphic mode which applies dither processing or like halftone processing to a graphic document. When the marking sheet is to be read, the text mode is set up automatically.
