摘要： A printing apparatus of the type capable of printing on both sides of a paper supplied thereto is improved by enabling simple operation through the use of a single operating lever. Adjustment devices allow simple vertical and transversely adjustment of the plate cylinders with respect to the paper position. After printing is effected, the operating lever is shifted stepwise from the printing position to a starting position through intermediate positions wherein blanket cleaning and plate ejection functions are effected. Changeover between single and two-sided printing is easily effected by a simple switch operation.

The latter may selectively communicate the supply pool with the cleaning bath in a delivery mode, or communicate the bath with a used liquid storage bottle 28 in a discharge mode. The bath is vertically disposed at a position proximate that of the bracket, whereby the liquid level in the bath is automatically maintained at the same level as the new cleaning liquid in the supply pool, which in turn is maintained at the height of the pouring mouth lip of the bottle 16.

A write training section is also disposed in front of a data section in a track of a system area of the storage medium, and, when the temperature is low, and when system information is to be written to the data section of the system area, pseudo-data is written to the write training section.
