摘要： A Liquid ejecting method for ejecting liquid using a bubble, includes using a liquid ejecting head having an ejection outlet for ejecting the liquid, a bubble generating region where a bubble is generated in the liquid, a movable member which is disposed faced to the bubble generating region, and which is displaceable between a first position and a second position farther from the bubble generating region than the first position and which has a free end at a downstream side thereof; displacing the movable member from the first position to the second position by pressure based on generation of the bubble in the bubble generating region, wherein the bubble expands more to the downstream side than to the upstream side with respect to a direction toward the ejection outlet by the displacement of the movable member, thus directing the bubble toward the ejection outlet to eject the liquid through the ejection outlet; and imparting an operation to the liquid ejecting head to normalize a state of the liquid in a liquid flow path for the liquid at least before liquid ejection start or at the time of non-ejection of the liquid.

摘要： An ink jet recording apparatus uses a recording head having discharge ports to discharge ink, and records by discharging ink from the recording head while enabling said recording head to travel in the direction of main scan. This apparatus comprises a recording head which is provided integrally with a plurality of recording units having a plurality of discharge port arrays for discharging ink of different colors, respectively, and then, the plurality of recording units are arranged in the direction of main scan to discharge ink of different densities, respectively. With the structure thus arranged, the recording in all the colors is not executed at a time thus making it possible to obtain an excellent image with a lesser deterioration of image due to ink blur and the like.

摘要： A liquid discharge head at least comprises a discharge opening for discharging the liquid, a liquid flow channel in communication with the discharge opening and for supplying the liquid to the discharge opening, a substrate equipped with a heat generator for producing a bubble in the liquid that is filled in the liquid flow channel, and a movable plate supported and fixed onto the substrate at a position of the substrate opposed to the heat generator and with a gap from the substrate, with a free end on the discharge opening side. The liquid discharge head can discharge the liquid from the discharge openings by forcing the free end of the movable plate to be displaced toward the discharge opening around a fulcrum portion made near a support and fixing portion of the movable plate with the substrate due to pressure caused by produced bubble.

摘要： A liquid discharge head comprises discharge ports for discharging the liquid, a bubble producing area for producing an air bubble in the liquid of liquid flow channels, and a movable member, which is disposed toward the bubble producing area, and displaceable between a first position and a second position farther away from the bubble producing area than the first position, the liquid discharge head discharging the liquid in such a manner that the movable member is displaced from the first position to the second position by a pressure due to a bubble produced in the bubble producing area, and the bubble is more greatly expanded downstream than upstream in a direction toward the discharge port, due to the displacement of the movable member. The head has a check valve disposed in a liquid supply passage leading to the liquid flow channels.

摘要： A printing head has a plurality of heater boards, each of which includes a shift register to which printing data and selection data for selecting preheating pulse signals are applied as inputs, a latch circuit for latching the printing data, a selection-data latch circuit for latching the selection data, a selection circuit for selecting any one of a plurality of preheating pulse signals inputted in accordance with the latched selection data, and a plurality of heating resistors driven by the printing data or preheating pulse signals. Correction data, obtained by a head correcting apparatus, for performing printing at an average density by correcting the characteristics of each heater board is stored in a memory of the printing head. A printing apparatus decides the selection data in accordance with the correction data and sets the selection data in the selection-data latch circuit.

摘要： A substrate, for use in a liquid discharge head for discharging liquid by applying thermal energy thereto, is provided with a heat generating member for applying the thermal energy to the liquid and a movable member so positioned as to be opposed to the heat generating member, to be fixed at the upstream side in the flowing direction of the liquid and to have a free end at the downstream end. Two wiring layers for applying a voltage to the heat generating member are provided in a superposed manner with an interlayer insulation layer therebetween and are mutually connected electrically via a through-hole. The through-hole is provided in a position different from the boundary between a fixing portion and a movable portion of the movable member.
