摘要: The present invention provides the stress detection method for force sensor device with multiple axis sensor device and force sensor device employing this method, whose installation angle is arbitrary. The stress detection method includes, first and second force sensors whose detection axes are orthogonal to each other. When the detection axis of first force sensor forms angle θ with direction of detected stress Ax, and the stress component of direction perpendicular to direction of the detected stress Ax is Az, output Apx of the axis direction of first force sensor is found as Apx=αx (Ax×cos θ+Az×sin θ), and output Apz of the axis direction of the second force sensor is found as Apz=αz (Ax×sin θ+Az×cos θ), and, when αx and αz are detection sensitivity coefficients of first and second force sensors respectively, the detection sensitivity coefficient αz of second force sensor is set as αz=αx tan θ, and the detected stress Ax is found as Ax=(Apx−Apz)/αx(cos θ−tan θ×sin θ).

摘要: An image formation apparatus comprises a cleaning member cylindrically formed of a material having elasticity, a moving mechanism for moving both the peripheral face of the cleaning member and the ink discharge face of the print head relative one to another, with both in contact one with another, and a driving control unit for controlling the driving of the moving mechanism. Each time a predetermined number of sheets of the recording medium have images formed thereupon, or each time a predetermined amount of time elapses, following starting of the operations for forming images, the image formation operations are temporarily interrupted, and the moving mechanism is driven under the control of the driving control unit, and the peripheral face of the cleaning member is moved over the surface of the ink discharge face while in contact therewith, thereby suctioning the ink within the ink discharge orifices.

摘要: An image forming apparatus for forming an image on a recording medium includes a print head having ink-discharge surfaces having the ink-discharge openings therein; a cylindrical cleaning roller composed of an elastic material; moving means for moving the cleaning roller and the print head relative to each other while keeping the circumferential surface of the cleaning roller in contact with the ink-discharge surfaces; drive control means for controlling the moving means; a head cap for protecting the ink-discharge surfaces; cap opening/closing means for opening and closing the head cap. When the head cap is opened by the cap opening/closing means, by driving the moving means with control of the drive control means so as to move the cleaning roller relative to the print head while keeping the circumferential surface of the cleaning roller in contact with the ink-discharge surfaces, ink in the ink-discharge openings is sucked.

摘要: Two electronic components can be accurately aligned with each other such that a mark-recognition apparatus captures mutually corresponding alignment marking-means of the two components in the same fields of view thereof and measures the positions of the two components. A first electronic component having two alignment holes perforated at predetermined positions thereof so as to be spaced away from each other by a predetermined interval is held with a receiving table, and also a second electronic component having two alignment marks formed at predetermined positions thereon so as to have an interval therebetween in agreement with that between the two alignment holes is held with a position-adjusting mechanism. Thus, in a state in which the alignment marks of the second electronic component are introduced in the corresponding alignment holes of the first electronic component, the mark-recognition apparatus captures the alignment marks and the alignment holes in the same fields of view thereof and measures the positions of the two components, and the position-adjusting mechanism adjusts the position of the second electronic component such that the alignment marks of the second electronic component lie at predetermined positions in the alignment holes of the first electronic component.

摘要: An inkjet head includes a head cap for protecting an ink discharge surface of a print head and a cleaning roller for cleaning the ink discharge surface of the print head. The head cap moves relative to and is removably mounted to the print head including the ink discharge surface with an ink discharge hole for discharging ink supplied from an ink cartridge. The cleaning roller is provided at a print head side of the head cap in the longitudinal direction of the print head. By virtue of this structure, it is possible to reduce the size of a printer body. The invention aims at reducing the size of the printer body by providing the cleaning member at the head cap for protecting the ink discharge surface.

摘要: A developing method expediting the development process, eliminates squeezing and achieves both high-speed development and uniform development at a half tone density. The development method employs a liquid developer 50 comprised of charged toner particles dispersed in an electrically insulating liquid. The charged toner particles are made up at least of a coloring agent and a resin. The liquid developer 50 is uniformly deposited on the surface of the developer carrier 51 and an electrical field is impressed for generating a liquid toner layer comprised of the charged toner particles assembled together. A charge carrier 55 on which is formed an electrostatic latent image is contacted under pressure with the developer carrier 51 holding the liquid toner layer comprised of the charged toner particles assembled together in order to effect development.
