摘要: An extendable truck bed ramp is housed adjacent the bed of the truck and tailgate when the tailgate is lowered and open. The ramp deploys using a track system inside the bed of the truck and the tailgate respectively. The ramp contains side rails for easy access with items such as hand trucks, ATVs (All Terrain Vehicles), and other wheeled items. The method for joining a truck bed with a loading surface includes attaching at least two parallel tracks to a floor of a truck bed and to a floor side of a tailgate to form continuous tracks based on a foldout of the tailgate, permanently embedding into the at least two parallel tracks each, at least two complementary sliders and moving the truck ramp with folding side rails into a joining position between the truck bed and the loading surface via the at least four sliders attached there beneath.

摘要: A thermal management system for a vehicle having an electric traction motor for moving the vehicle and a battery pack configured to provide power for driving the motor. The thermal management system includes a motor cooling system operable to cool the motor, and a second thermal load cooling system configured to remove heat from a second thermal load. The second thermal load cooling system is selectively thermally connectable to the motor to remove heat therefrom. A control system is provided and is configured to detect a motor cooling system failure situation and can operate the second thermal load cooling system to thermally connect the second thermal load cooling system to the motor to cool the electric traction motor in response to detection of the motor cooling system failure situation.

摘要: A solar roofing system wherein the solar panels are integrated into the existing roof of a building in a watertight fashion, through the use of a starter trim piece, side step flashing pieces which are installed under each course of shingles such that they overlap to form a barrier along the side; a step flashing cover which seals the step flashing with the left and right sides of the solar panels, a Z-cleat that is fastened and sealed to the top of each solar panel, and a hood flashing which attaches to the Z-cleat and provides a sealed, watertight transition to the regular roofing material. The solar roofing system is watertight, and integrated with the actual roof, such that it does not need to be replaced when the roofing is replaced.

摘要: Systems for removing or attenuating friction and/or click noise generated during writing with a smart pen are disclosed. In a smart pen, the writing cartridge is biased towards a first side of the smart pen internal cavity by a low-force biasing system without affecting writing cartridge movement. For example, the writing cartridge is comprised of a magnetic material and a magnet is embedded into the first side of the smart pen internal cavity to bias the writing cartridge towards the first side. Alternatively, the material comprising the writing cartridge or smart pen internal cavity is modified, reducing friction between the components. As another alternative, a DSP method identifies analyzes one or more parameters of received audio data to differentiate click noise from audio data, and may receive data from a movement sensor indicating when the writing cartridge has moved to reduce power consumption for identifying click noise.

摘要: Methods and apparatus relating to predicting outcome in a sporting environment are described. The methods and apparatus are used to relate trajectory performance of an object to body motions and body orientation associated with a generating the trajectory of the object. When equipment is utilized to generate the trajectory of an object, than the effects of equipment motions and equipment orientation can be also related to trajectory performance. The method and apparatus can be used to predict body motions and body orientations that increase the likelihood of achieving a desired outcome including specifying optimum motions and orientations for a particular individual. The method and apparatus may be used in training, coaching and broadcasting environments.

摘要: An apparatus and method of controlling data sharing in a shared memory computer system transfers control of a cache coherency directory (entry) to a node having control of the data. Specifically, the plurality of nodes includes a home node and a second node. The home node has given data in a cache line in its memory, and also has a directory identifying the state of the cache line. The method and apparatus thus detect a request for ownership of the cache line from the second node, and enable the second node to control the directory after receipt of the request.
