    摘要： The present invention relates to transmitting a sounding signal in a multiple input multiple output (MIMO) wireless mobile communication system. According to the present invention, a user equipment that supports a plurality of transmitting antennas receives a plurality of uplink sounding transmission control information elements from a base station. Each of the plurality of uplink sounding transmission control information elements includes respective cyclic period information for periodically repeating sounding signal transmission and respective antenna designation information for designating one or more antennas through which the sounding signal is to be transmitted among a plurality of transmission antennas of the user equipment. The user equipment, then, transmits a sounding signal through selected number of transmission antennas according to the antenna designation information of the uplink sounding transmission control information element having the shortest cycle period among the plurality of uplink sounding transmission control information elements.

The method includes selecting at least one selection band from a plurality of bands, the plurality of bands being distributed throughout a whole frequency band, grouping the plurality of bands into a plurality of band groups, setting a primary bitmap for each band group according to whether the selection band is included in each band group and setting a secondary bitmap for bands in each band group, and transmitting the primary bitmap and the secondary bitmap. Radio resources used to transmit a band bitmap can be reduced by decreasing the number of bits of the band bitmap.

A rank indicator (RI) and a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) can be carried on a dedicated control channel (DCCH) and be specified through a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH).

    摘要： A method of transmitting a midamble for channel estimation of multiple antennas performed by a base station in a system having segregated uplink and downlink frequency bands is provided. The method includes transmitting midamble information indicating presence of the midamble within a downlink frame to a user equipment (UE), and transmitting the midamble on a single downlink subframe among at least one downlink subframe included in the downlink frame or on a common zone to the UE by using the multiple antennas. A scheduling overhead of a base station and other overheads can be reduced by decreasing the number of transmissions of a midamble on one downlink frame, and thus limited radio resources can be effectively used.

    摘要： A method for detecting signals based on despreading and a signal transmitting method for the same are provided. Signals are spread according to the size of at least one spreading band, which is determined in consideration of a correlation degree of a frequency band in a communication system. A reception side which receives the signals detects the signals after de-spreading with respect to signals which are spread in a frequency band having a correlation degree equal to or greater than a predetermined level as a spreading band, among the reception signals. Thus, the dimension of the detected signals can be decreased.

The method comprises generating a preceding matrix including a preceding vector, the preceding vector being applied to each of data streams to be transmitted, performing preceding procedure for a pilot by using the preceding matrix, and transmitting the precoded pilot, wherein transmission power of the precoded pilot is determined specifically to the each of the data streams. The transmission power of a precoded pilot can be controlled adaptively, individually and independently for each channel to improve channel estimation performance.
