摘要： When a reprint of a picture which has been printed once and stored as picture image data is requested under a different condition, the reprint can be generated without carrying out rereading of a film. When film reading for generating a print is carried out, as much information showing the content of the picture image is recorded on the film as possible. This includes information which is not necessary for generating the requested print. It is stored as a portion of the picture image data. In this manner, even when a reprint under a condition different from the previous printing is requested, the print can be generated by reading necessary content from the stored picture image data.

摘要： A photographic film cassette has a connecting sheet of which a trailing end is fixed on a spool, and a front end is drawn out from a cassette shell through a film passage mouth beforehand. A developed photographic film is connected to the front end of the connecting sheet drawn out of the cassette shell. The spool is rotated to wind up the developed film in the cassette shell with the connecting sheet. In a preferred embodiment, before developing the photographic film after exposure, the exposed film is drawn out of the cassette shell, and is cut on a film trailer. As a result, the exposed film is separated into a first portion and a second portion left on the spool with a front end of the second portion drawn out. The second portion is provided as the connecting sheet. Further, a hot-melt adhesive agent is applied to the photographic film in a position to be the front end of the second portion.

摘要： A plurality of exposed photographic films of different types, which are contained in respective different type film cartridges, are developed and wound up individually into wind-up cartridges, on which identification data indicating the type of the photographic film wound in each wind-up cartridge is recorded. In printing, the type of each of the different type photographic films is discriminated based on the identification data recorded on the wind-up cartridges, so as to change over printing sequence according to the film type. The type of the film cartridge positioned in a film pull out position of the film processor is discriminated and memorized, so as to select a wind-up cartridge having a film type identification mark corresponding to the developed film to be wound up, or to write film type identification data in an IC memory of the wind-up cartridge during or after winding up the developed film. If a predetermined type of photographic films are contained in such film cartridges that have the same shape as the wind-up cartridges, the film cartridges of the predetermined type films are reused as wind-up cartridge.

摘要： A color slide printing method produces image signals representing a positive image of a color slide using a color TV camera, converts the positive image signals into negative image signals for each of three colors using a contrast transfer circuit, sequentially displays the negative image signals for the three colors as black-and-white negative images in a brightness pattern on a black-and-white CRT while respectively inserting red, green and blue filters, each independently of the other two, in the printing optical path. The filtered black-and-white negative images expose color photographic paper. The positive image signals are sent to a color monitor to display thereon a positive color image of the color slide for visual inspection. When the positive color image on the color monitor is fuzzy or out of focus, the slide is considered to be positioned front side back, and the color TV camera is readjusted to focus on the back side of the color slide and the image signals are electronically converted so as to display mirror images on the black-and-white CRT and the color monitor.

Also, an adhesive layer is provided for adhering the transparent and supporting sheets together to sandwich the image receiving layer therebetween after having formed a composite image of the picture and personal data in the image receiving layer.

摘要： A video printer for making a print of main frames of different scenes of a video motion picture or animation recorded on a video tape, video floppy or the like can detect automatically one frame for each scene. For detecting a scene transition, the video printer is provided with a frame comparing device for comparing video signals of every pair of two adjacent frames reproduced time serially to provide a signal representative of the degree of correlation thereof. A judging device determines that there is a scene transition when the frame comparing device provides a signal larger than a preset signal. The video printer makes a print of a first frame reproduced after a lapse of a predetermined time period after the detection of the transition of scene. The main frames of the different scenes are printed as a composite image to provide an index print for demonstrating the contents of a video tape.

摘要： A hard copy of a picture is produced from a single field of video signals representing the picture. A single field of luminance and line-sequential color difference video signals representing a picture is entered to a signal converter to be converted into a frame of video signals, which is in turn stored in a storage. The signal converter produces interpolated luminance signals and interpolated color difference signals. The video signals are then read out of the storage in an interlace raster scanning fashion. A picture display visibly displays the picture represented by the read out video signals. The video signals are also read out of the storage in a sequential scanning fashion. A picture printer receives the sequentially read out video signals and records on a recording medium the picture represented by the video signals.
