摘要: An optical communication apparatus is disclosed. The optical communication apparatus includes a light transmission section, a light reception section, and a control section. The light transmission section causes a light emitting portion which outputs light in a visual line direction of a user to transmit information. The light reception section causes a light receiving portion which receives light from the visual line direction of the user to receive information. The control section determines whether or not another optical communication apparatus is an information communication target based on identification information when the light reception section has optically received communication request information and the identification information from the other optical communication apparatus and causes the light transmission section to optically transmit communication response information to the other optical communication apparatus when the control section has determined that the other optical communication apparatus be the information communication target.

摘要: The present invention provides a display apparatus and a display method for realizing control for display operations by a user precisely reflecting the user's status, i.e., the user's intentions, visual state and physical conditions. Worn as an eyeglass-like or head-mount wearable unit for example, the display apparatus of the present invention enables the user to recognize visibly various images on the display unit positioned in front of the user's eyes thereby providing the picked up images, reproduced images, and received images. As control for various display operations such as switching between the display state and the see-through state, display operation mode and selecting sources, the display apparatus of the present invention acquires information about either behavior or physical status of the user, and determines either intention or status of the user in accordance with the acquired information, thereby controlling the display operation appropriately on the basis of the determination result.

摘要: Among pickup image data items of multiple frames picked up at different time instants, an image of a certain frame is regarded as a synthesizing base image. The synthesizing base image and an image of another frame are used to perform synthesizing processing. Specifically, an object-of-synthesis area is designated in the frame image regarded as the synthesizing base image, and processing of replacing pixel data in the object-of-synthesis area with pixel data in another frame is carried out. For example, if a person having his/her eyes closed appears in the synthesizing base image that is a group-photograph image, the part of the person's face is regarded as the object-of-synthesis area. As another frame, an image in which the person has his/her eyes left open is searched. Pixel data in the facial image part showing the open eyes is fetched and synthesized with the synthesizing base image. Thus, a group photograph in which all people have their eyes left open is produced.
