    摘要: A DC-to-DC converter having an active switch connected between a pair of DC input terminals via the primary winding of a transformer whose secondary winding is connected to a pair of DC output terminals via a rectifying and smoothing circuit. Operating under the control of an output voltage detector circuit, a switch control signal generator rapidly turns the active switch on and off so as to keep the DC output voltage constant. For overcurrent protection, a current detect resistor is connected in series with the active switch for providing an uncorrected current detect signal indicative of the current flowing through the active switch. An overcurrent protector generates, in response to a clocked ramp voltage, a correction voltage which builds up with time during each conducting period of the active switch. The correction voltage is subtracted from the uncorrected current detect signal to provide a corrected current detect signal. The switch control signal generator is caused to turn off the active switch when the corrected current detect signal rises to an overcurrent threshold.

    摘要: A switching power source apparatus has a switching element Q1. Between terminals of the switching element Q1, there is parasitic capacitance (C1, C2). A voltage V4 of parasitic oscillation appears at a gate of the switching element Q1 after a flyback period. A voltage detector detects a drop in the voltage V4 and outputs a detection signal V6. The detection signal V6 is delayed by a timer, which outputs an ON start signal synchronized with timing T at which the voltage V4 reaches a bottom level. In response to the ON start signal from the timer, a controller outputs an ON control signal to turn on the switching element Q1. In response to the ON control signal from the controller, a driver applies a drive signal to the gate of the switching element Q1, thereby driving the switching element Q1.

    摘要: A wavelength conversion element having multi-gratings free from damage propagation and a light generating apparatus using it, and a wavelength conversion element having multi-gratings to make a thermal distribution centrosymmetric, and being free from damage propagation, are provided. The wavelength conversion element is realized by comprising a holder and plural prismatic ferroelectric single crystals disposed in the holder, wherein plural prismatic ferroelectric single crystals have at least five planes; the aspect ratios of planes perpendicular to respective longitudinal directions of the plural prismatic ferroelectric single crystals are virtually unity; and each of the plural prismatic ferroelectric single crystals has a domain inversion structure with a predetermined period in the direction perpendicular to the polarization direction thereof, and is arranged in a way that said direction perpendicular to the polarization direction is the same as those of the other crystals. In addition, the element is realized by selecting ferroelectric material from a group comprising lithium niobate, lithium tantalate, impurity-doped lithium niobate, and impurity-doped lithium tantalate, each with virtually stoichiometric composition, and processing it into the cylindrical ferroelectric single crystal with a virtually completely round cross-section.
