    摘要: A method of fixing a polarization-reversed region formed in a ferroelectric single crystal, including preparing a ferroelectric single crystal having a polarization-reversed region; and irradiating an ion beam or a neutral beam on the ferroelectric single crystal. The ferroelectric single crystal is a substantially stoichiometric lithium tantalate single crystal or a substantially stoichiometric lithium niobate single crystal, and the polarization-reversed region is fixed and any back switch and expansion of the polarization-reversed region are suppressed.

    摘要: An optical device and a method of manufacturing the optical device, with the method including the steps of forming a dopant layer on a stoichiometric lithium niobate single crystal substrate with Li to Nb mole composition ratio of 49.5% to 50.5%, and diffusing a dopant in the dopant layer into at least a portion of the stoichiometric lithium niobate single crystal substrate. The stoichiometric lithium niobate single crystal substrate includes 0.5 to 5 mol % of Mg. In the diffusing step, a heat treatment is performed at a diffusion temperature of 1000° C. to 1200° C. for a diffusion time of 3 hours to 24 hours in a dry atmosphere of at least one of O2, N2, Ar and He gas having a dew-point temperature of −35° C. or less.

    摘要: An object of the invention is to provide an iodide single crystal material that provides a scintillator material for the next-generation TOF-PET, and a production process for high-quality iodide single crystal materials.The iodide single crystal material of the invention having the same crystal structure as LuI3 and activated by a luminescence center RE where RE is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, and Yb is characterized in that a part or the whole of lutetium (Lu) in said iodide single crystal material is substituted by Y and/or Gd.The inventive production process for an iodide single crystal material is characterized by comprising a step of preparing starting materials comprising an RE metal or REI3, I2, and a metal of at least one element selected from the group consisting of Lu, Y and Gd and/or its iodide provided that when only Lu is selected, there is a Lu metal chosen; a step of maintaining said starting materials under vacuum; a step of heating said starting materials at a reaction temperature to create a raw polycrystal material containing at least XI3:RE where X is said at least one selected element; and a step of turning said raw polycrystal material into a single crystal.

By forming a notch (7) on a leading edge of each of the outer plates (4, 5) to accommodate the guide (17), the size of the knuckle bracket (1) can be suppressed.

    摘要: There are disclosed a pigment composition comprising a dry-milled pigment, a water-soluble resin, and a nonionic surfactant composed of a compound having an acetylenic linkage; and a method for producing a pigment composition, comprising dry-milling a pigment containing coarse particles in the presence of a water-soluble resin and a nonionic surfactant composed of a compound having an acetylenic linkage. The production method is also possible in the form of comprising (a) dry-milling a pigment containing coarse particles in the presence of a nonionic surfactant composed of a compound having an acetylenic linkage thereby obtaining an intermediate milled product, and (b) further dry-milling a mixture of the intermediate milled product and a water-soluble resin. For producing an aqueous pigment dispersion product, there is also disclosed herein a method comprising the steps of (a) dry-milling a pigment containing coarse particles in the presence of a water-soluble resin thereby obtaining a milled product, and (b) dispersing the milled product in water in the presence of a nonionic surfactant composed of a compound having an acetylenic linkage.

    摘要: A two-color hologram recording/reproducing apparatus is capable of directing interferable signal light and reference light into a hologram recording medium to record an information signal carried by the signal light. The hologram recording medium is sensitive to a first light at a first wavelength in an ultraviolet or short-wavelength visible light band to develop light induced absorption. The apparatus includes a light source for irradiating the hologram recording medium with the first light, a laser light source for irradiating the hologram recording medium with signal light and reference light at a second wavelength longer than the first wavelength after the first light is irradiated, and a gate light source for directing gate light at a third wavelength into the hologram recording medium. The gate light causes the hologram recording medium to develop a recording sensitivity to activate or inactivate a refractive index grating in accordance with existence or non-existence of a light interference pattern formed by the signal light and the reference light.

    摘要: Seal coating mask for semiconductor element and method of use thereof with a seal coating mask with an opening located at a position where a semiconductor element is mounted on a wiring board. The coating mask has an annular protrusion formed along the whole periphery of the opening. A clearance of about 0.01 to 0.5 mm is formed between at least a part of the whole periphery of the annular protrusion and the front surface of the wiring board. The coating mask also includes a space portion formed on the back of the seal coating mask for cutting off cooling material outside of the annular protrusion. The coating mask is used to forcibly coat a material for sealing the semiconductor element in the front surface of the wiring board.
