摘要： A battery container is provided with a battery cover having side walls so that a gap is formed between the side walls of the container and the side walls of the cover. The upper end portion of a bottomed heat-shielding case is inserted into this gap so that the heat-shielding case is detachably attached to the battery container and covers the container and forms a space between the container and the case. The space between the container and case is closed to air outside the case and air convection between the outside air and the air inside the space can be prevented thereby increasing the heat-shielding effect for protecting the storage battery from high temperatures. Additionally, the heat-shielding case is designed to be attached securely to the battery container (1) to make one body therewith, making it easier to mount and dismount them in an automobile engine compartment.

摘要： A signal reproduction and method therefore device for a digital signal reproduction apparatus, which reproduces digital signals recorded on a recording medium with a reproduction head. The device includes a first memory circuit which sequentially stores digital signals reproduced by the reproduction head, a circuit which identifies the attribute of a reproduced digital signal and a write control circuit which judges, based on the result of the identification provided by the identification circuit, whether digital signals of a prescribed unit length included among digital signals stored in the first memory have the same attribute, and produces a write signal in response to the judgment. Also provided is a second memory which is connected to the first memory and stores the digital signals which have the prescribed length and are judged to have the same attribute in response to the write signal.

摘要： A VTR incorporating a video printing controller comprising at least one rotary magnetic head for scanning recording tracks formed on a magnetic tape to reproduce a video signal recorded on a recording track specified by a marker signal, a marker signal detector for detecting the marker signal specifying the recording track carrying the video signal to be printed, and a system controller connected to the marker signal detector and to a video printer connected to the VTR. The system controller gives a video printer control signal to the video printer upon receipt of a marker signal detection signal from the marker signal detector to control the video printer for printing out in a hard copy the video image reproduced from the recording track specified by the marker signal. Thus, the recording track storing the video image desired to be printed is located automatically by searching the recording tracks for the marker signal, and then the desired video signal is printed out automatically.

摘要： In a helical scan apparatus having a rotary head or heads for recording and/or reproducing video and audio signals in oblique tracks on a magnetic tape with the recorded audio signals being recorded in overscan areas of the oblique tracks and with the pitch of the tracks being different as a result of changes in the tape speed for different recording modes; index signals are recorded by the rotary head or heads at predetermined positions in the overscan areas of a plurality of the oblique tracks for a period of time dependent upon the recording mode previously used for recording the video and audio signals. Therefore, in a program search operation employing high speed playback, the index signals can be extracted from the output of the rotary head or heads for identifying a respective program or event irrespective of the recording mode with which the video and audio signals were recorded.

摘要： A reproducing section of a helical scan VTR for reproducing a color television signal recorded in a plurality of successive parallel tracks on a magnetic tape and comprised of a video signal and at least one of a frequency-modulated audio signal and the combination of a PCM audio signal and run-in signal, with the video signal and frequency-modulated audio signal being recorded only in a main section of each track and the PCM audio signal being recorded only in an overscan section of each track, the VTR including a pair of magnetic heads which scan the tracks to reproduce the information signal recorded therein; a pair of switch circuits connected to the heads and which separate the information signal reproduced during scanning of the main section of each track and a signal reproduced during scanning of the overscan section of each track; a detector which detects the presence or absence of a run-in signal from the separated signal reproduced during scanning of the overscan section of each track and produces a detection signal in response thereto; an output; and a switch for switching an analog audio signal reproduced from the PCM audio signal to the output in response to the detection signal when a run-in signal is detected and an analog audio signal reproduced from the frequency-modulated audio signal to the output in response to the detection signal when no run-in signal is detected.

摘要： A digital servo control system for controlling a drive motor accumulates speed and phase error numbers and produces a pulse width modulated signal in response thereto. Phase errors are measured by counting pulses of a clock signal between the arrival of a position signal related to a rotational position of the drive motor and the arrival of a reference signal. An automatic residual error compensating circuit controls a delay applied to the position signal in accordance with residual phase error to minimize the same.
