Abstract:
A device for transmitting rotary motion. The device includes a motion-transmitting member for transforming an alternating rotary motion of a input drive shaft into a unidirected rotary motion of a driven body driven about a drive shaft. The motion-transmitting member includes an intermediate body rotatable about an axis of rotation. A mechanical energy accumulation member is mechanically connected to the driven body. The intermediate body includes a cam disk in the form of a driving pulley and the mechanical energy accumulation member includes a tensile/compressive spring unit.
Abstract:
A high voltage bushing including an electrical conductor configured to be electrically connected to a high voltage device and configured to be connected to an external fluid cooling system, and an insulating body surrounding the electrical conductor. A method includes cooling the high voltage bushing by connecting the electrical conductor to an external fluid cooling system.
Abstract:
A device for stretching an elastically expandable body, wherein the device includes a stiff tube over which at least part of the elastically expandable body is arranged to be applied when being stretched. The device includes at least one sliding element designed to be located in at least that end of the body where the application of the tube starts, to facilitate the application of the body onto the tube.
Abstract:
An apparatus for reactive power compensation in an ac medium voltage power network. The apparatus includes a common connection; a first branch including a first switch, and a first capacitor; and a second branch including a second switch and a second capacitor.
Abstract:
A surge arrester including a stack of a plurality of cylindrical varistor blocks that are arranged one after the other in the axial direction of the varistor blocks between an upper end electrode and a lower end electrode. Arranged around the stack are clamping members of an insulating material including at least three loops of continuously wound fiber that connect the upper end electrode to the lower end electrode as well as a bursting-protective bandage in the form of a plurality of rings wound of fiber, and a surrounding, electrically insulating, outer casing of rubber or other polymeric material. The loops are wound from glass fiber and exhibit an asymmetrical cross section.
Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a power capacitor including at least one capacitor element and equipment for carrying out the method. The capacitor element includes a roll of alternate dielectric films and electrode films. The roll has first and second end surfaces facing away from each other. The electrode films are connectably exposed. A solder tip is preheated in a pot with a preheated solder. The solder tip is coated with solder, whereupon at least one of the surfaces of the capacitor element is coated with solder by bringing the solder tip into contact with the end surface. The contact is brought to cease. At least one lead is fixed by soldering to the end surface.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a system and method for advising wireless computer networks on inter-network interferences during their life time. The method of the present invention initially observes initial channel utilization profiles along with corresponding time-slots of dynamic network elements and network characteristics of a first network and stores as historical channel utilization profiles. The initial transmission profiles an interfering second network are also recorded. The threshold transmission profiles are then recorded as historical transmission profiles. The aggregator determines interference patterns, by comparing historical channel utilization profiles with runtime threshold transmission profiles and advises and pre-warns appropriate network actions to a network manager of the first network on the interference prone zones. The system of the present invention includes a first network with a common multi-network interference observer, to advise on inter-network interferences.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a robot teach pendant unit (2) coupled to a programmable robot controller (1), the teach pendant comprising a graphical screen (6), and a native user interface program (9) which creates a graphical user interface and displays the user interface on the graphical screen. The robot teach pendant further comprises a processing component (10) capable of receiving an application including one or more animated graphical objects, instructions for displaying the animated objects on the graphical screen, information on the behavior of the animated graphical objects, and instructions on how the user can interact with the animated graphical objects, and the processing component is configured to display the animated graphical objects on the screen and to set up a sandbox providing an isolation mechanism for safely running the application without disturbing the execution of normal teach pendant operations, and said user interface program is programmed to host directly the processing component and instructing it to load and display the application containing the animated graphical objects.
