Abstract:
Provided is a hairstyling appliance for styling hair, comprising a first housing and a second housing facing the first housing; the housings, of longitudinal axis, being connected in a pivoting manner by a hinge so as to define an open and closed position of the appliance; the first housing having a first hair treatment surface which is intended to be heated by a first heating means; the second housing having at least one second hair treatment surface which is intended to come into contact with the first surface in order to grip the hair in the closed position; the appliance containing two cylinders arranged on each side of one of the treatment surfaces, the cylinders being mounted so as to be able to rotate about their longitudinal axis.
Abstract:
A brewing device (2) for an espresso-type coffee machine including a brewing chamber (12) for receiving ground coffee, a movably mounted pressure piston (13) in translation with a stroke that extends from an upper retracted position in which the pressure piston (13) is located above the brewing chamber (12) to a lower tamping position in which the pressure piston (13) enters said brewing chamber (12) and a potentiometer controlled by driving means during the stroke of the pressure piston (13) to measure the tamping position of said pressure piston and to thereby calculate the height of the compressed cake of ground coffee. The driving means only act on the potentiometer for a portion of the stroke of the pressure piston (13).
Abstract:
An electrical food preparation appliance includes a working container enclosing a tool rotated by a motor, a device for heating the contents of the working container and a removable lid that covers the working container, the lid having an opening for inserting ingredients into the working container, at least one steam exhaust orifice, and a removable measuring cap accommodated into said opening for inserting ingredients. The measuring cap can occupy at least two stable positions in the opening of the lid and in that the motion of the measuring cap from one stable position to the other makes it possible to vary the passage cross-section of the steam exhaust orifice.
Abstract:
A heating article includes a substrate having two opposite surfaces, at least one of which is opaque, and a heat-stable coating arranged on the opaque surface. The heat-stable coating includes an at least two-color decoration having continuous tones and being provided in the form of a continuous or discontinuous layer. A method for manufacturing such an article includes applying a decoration composition on the opaque surface of the article to form a moist decoration layer, and then heating the moist decoration layer to form a decoration having the form of one of a continuous or discontinuous layer.
Abstract:
A massage device includes a body which contains motor and massage head, where installation mechanism is located between the body and the massage head and said head includes application surface and two massage wheels located along two initial parallel longitudinal axes, which are separated and extend partially outside the application surface. The massage head includes to cause the two wheels to rotate in synchronization and in opposite directions so that, when seen in perpendicular plane to the two axes with the wheels toward the bottom, section of wheel located on the left which extends past the application surface turns counterclockwise and section of wheel located on the right which extends past the application surface turns clockwise. A wheel spacing adjustment system is designed to initially create a minimum distance between the wheels then to adjust the distance to reach a position of equilibrium.
Abstract:
Provided is an electrical household appliance (1) have a water tank (2) and a water supply system (4) communicating with the tank, at least one scale-inhibiting agent and means (3) for boiling and/or evaporating the water coming from the reservoir or contained in the reservoir. The scale-inhibiting agent is a biodegradable agent that is at least partially water-soluble. Also provided is a method for inhibiting the formation and deposition of scale in electrical household appliances in contact with an aqueous medium, the method employing said biodegradable scale-inhibiting agent.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an appliance (1) for cooking food, the appliance comprising firstly a receptacle (2) for containing the food and secondly a blade (8) placed within the receptacle (2), said receptacle (2) and blade (8) being designed to be driven with relative rotary motion so as to stir the food in the receptacle (2), the appliance being characterized in that the blade (8) includes turnover means (13) shaped to act under the effect of the relative rotary motion to cause at least a fraction of the food to turn over in a turnover direction (D) that presents, in the plane of the rotary motion, a majority component that is radial.
Abstract:
Provided is an electrical kitchen appliance including a pressing screw rotated about a substantially vertical axis in a work chamber having a food insertion chute communicating with the upper end of the pressing screw, and a discharge outlet. The pressing screw includes at least two main threads providing at least two separate passages for inserting food, each main thread having a lower face extending over at least one quarter of the circumference of the pressing screw.
Abstract:
Provided is an electric kitchen appliance including a housing which contains an electric motor connected to an upper drive output, a work chamber comprising a work container sealed by a lid with a chute for inserting food, the work container having a discharge outlet, a removable pressing screw which can be rotated by the upper drive output being arranged in the work chamber. Rotation of the pressing screw is provided by a rotary element removably mounted in the work chamber, the rotary element including a pre-cutting disc and a driving member which is rotated by the upper drive output.
Abstract:
Provided is a non-stick cooking container, comprising a container body, in which the container body comprises a ribbed inner surface, the ribbed inner surface comprising a plurality of ribs and grooves arranged at regular intervals, a non-stick coating covering the surfaces of the ribs and the grooves, the ribs comprising a top surface, the grooves comprising a bottom surface. It is difficult to scratch or chip off the non-stick coating of the non-stick cooking container, which allows the cooking container to retain the non-stick properties over a long period.
