A sleep enclosure assembly may be configured to partially or fully enclose a user's sleep area or bed. The sleep enclosure assembly may be stored within a housing located proximate to a user's bed or sleep area, and may be fully or partially deployable such that the user's bed or sleep area is fully enclosed within a canopy of the sleep enclosure assembly. The sleep enclosure assembly may include one or more environmental control modules designed to control or regulate one or more aspects of the sleep area according to a user's preferences, including the sound, light, temperature, air quality, ventilation, and/or humidity of the sleeping environment. The sleep enclosure assembly may further be controlled by software running on a computing device allowing a user to customize one or more aspects of the sleep environment.

    摘要： According to some embodiments, a climate controlled bed or other seating assembly comprises an upper portion or mattress having at least one fluid distribution member (e.g., spacer fabric) that is in fluid communication with the at least one internal passageway of the upper portion, wherein the at least one fluid distribution member is configured to at least partially distribute fluid within the fluid distribution member. In some embodiments, the internal passageway terminates at or near a bottom surface of the upper portion or mattress. The bed or other seating assembly additionally includes one or more inlays or interlays or intermediate layers, or components thereof, positioned between the upper portion and a foundation.

    摘要： A bed apparatus has a housing with an intake duct, a closeable vent, and an exhaust port. The intake duct is configured to intake air from an area outside of a bed. The closeable vent is configured to selectively supply the air to the bed. The exhaust port is configured to selectively return the air to the area outside of the bed. At least one electric fan is disposed within the housing between the closeable vent and the intake duct. In operation, the bed apparatus can be switched from a sound-enrichment-only function, to a sound-enrichment-and-bed-air-delivery function, simply by closing and opening the vent, respectively. The bed apparatus may further include a clamp for securing a bed cover above the housing.

Deck-mounted fans beneath a mattress operate in various embodiments to induce a uniform suction flow, a uniform discharge flow, and/or a combined suction/discharge (circulating) flow that enhances the cooling and/or heating rate of the mattress. The mattress thermal management system can be incorporated into a conventional mattress/bed system or into an adjustable bed system.
