摘要： A finger splint for manual therapy according to the present invention comprises: a base sheet made of a metal material and of a certain length and width to surround a finger; a base hole formed through the center of the base sheet in a rhombus shape; a first hole extending through both upper left and right sides of the base hole along a portion of a periphery of the finger; and a second hole extending through both lower left and right sides of the base hole along the periphery of the finger to correspond to the position and size of the first hole. The finger splint for manual therapy according to the present invention has the effect of providing an excellent and comfortable fit on the basis of an ergonomic structure as well as sufficiently ensuring a basic fixing force.

摘要： The present invention includes the composition and manufacturing of a product to treat various types of infections, and diseases ailments. The invention embodies a disposable absorbent or nonabsorbent article comprising an unbound/freely associating adsorbent porous carbonaceous material for the entrapment and/or treatment of pathogens and adverse biological by-products. The product form includes three dimensional carriers such as tampons, panty liners, incontinence pads, diapers, sanitary towels, swabs, cotton balls, pouches, and/or plugs, which contain adsorbent porous carbonaceous material that effectively reduces and/or eliminates adverse situations sourcing from pathogens and harmful biological by-products, including fungi, bacteria, viruses, and parasites. According to the invention, the fixing brace can be used for both the left body and the right body, convenient for the doctor; the product does not absorb water and has no pad structure, so it is quick in drying after bathing, and it is good in comfort for the wearer; any pruritus and dermatitis can be avoided; and the external fixing brace according to the invention can be used for bone support of the upper limb, the neck, the chest, the waist, the lower limb and the like.

摘要： A composite moldable splint and method for using the same is described. In some embodiments, the splint has at least a partially fluid-filled inner volume, which in some embodiments may include foam, rubber, water, or pelletized material, enclosed by a flexible liner, surrounded by a thermoplastic layer that is flexible and moldable when heated. The inner volume, which may include a thermoactive adhesive having differing viscosity characteristics at a plurality of temperatures, provides the ability to mold the cushion into a wide range of shapes and contours, such as when forming around a body part. The thermoplastic layer provides the ability of the cushion to be molded when heated, while the inner volume tends to maintain a shape, and allows the thermoplastic layer to stay in its formed shape as the cushion cools. The cushion may be used in a range of medical applications for stabilizing patients and body parts.

摘要： Cellulose cyanoacrylate is employed either to bond two surfaces or to duplicate the shape of a three-dimensional object. The method is carried out by applying a release material to the object to be duplicated, applying a sheet of cellulosic material formed of wood fibers onto the three dimensional object, then saturating the sheet of cellulosic material with a cyanoacrylate glue and permitting the saturated sheet to cure. The resulting product duplicates the shape of the object. Two surfaces may be bonded by placing a sheet of cellulosic material between the two surfaces and applying the cyanoacrylate glue to edges of the sheet until saturated and allowing it to cure. Paper toweling may favorably be employed as the cellulosic material. This material may also be employed in bone or tooth repair. A break or fracture in an article can be repaired by positioning a sheet of cellulosic material over the break, saturating it with cyanoacrylate glue, and holding the saturated sheet in place with a releasable film. Irritating fumes may be suppressed by covering the saturated cellulosic material with a release film.
