摘要:
A system for subatmospheric pressure therapy in connection with healing a wound is provided. The system includes a wound dressing cover dimensioned for positioning relative to a wound bed of a subject to establish a reservoir over the wound bed in which subatmospheric pressure may be maintained, a subatmospheric pressure mechanism including, a housing, a vacuum source disposed in the housing, and a collection canister in fluid communication with the vacuum source. The system further includes an exudate conduit in fluid communication with the wound dressing and the collection canister for collecting exudate removed from the reservoir and deposited in the collection canister under influence of the vacuum source and a vent conduit in fluid communication with the collection canister and the wound dressing for introducing air into the reservoir to facilitate flow of exudate through the exudate conduit.

A reduced pressure treatment system includes a reduced pressure source and a reduced pressure dressing. The dressing includes an interface layer adapted to be positioned at a tissue site and an absorbent layer in fluid communication with the interface layer to absorb liquid from at least one of the interface layer and the tissue site. A diverter layer is positioned adjacent the absorbent layer, and the diverter layer includes a plurality of apertures in fluid communication with the absorbent layer to distribute a reduced pressure to the absorbent layer. A cover is positioned over the diverter layer to maintain the reduced pressure at the tissue site.

Apparatus and a method for the provision of TNP therapy to a wound are described, the apparatus comprising: a sealing membrane (504) for covering a wound to form a wound cavity (500); one end of an aspirant conduit (522) operably associated with the wound cavity, vacuum means (524) provided at a distal end of the aspirant conduit for applying a vacuum to the wound cavity; and, air bleed means (510) in fluid communication with the wound cavity. Various embodiments of air bleed port members are also described.

Systems and devices for treating a tissue site may include an interface adapted to provide a reduced pressure to a dressing. The interface may include a positive-pressure channel for delivering a positive pressure from a positive-pressure port to a positive pressure outlet. The positive-pressure channel may include a constricted portion configured to provide a pressure drop. The interface may additionally include a reduced-pressure channel adapted to deliver reduced pressure to the dressing that substantially corresponds to the pressure drop. The reduced-pressure channel may be fluidly coupled between the positive pressure channel and a side of the interface body adapted to face the dressing. Other systems and devices are disclosed.

Dressings, systems, and methods for treating a tissue site on a patient involve allowing liquids from the tissue site or a priming fluid to evaporate and exit the dressing through a liquid-impermeable, vapor-permeable membrane. The dressing is able to process more liquids than would otherwise be possible without evaporation and potentially to create reduced pressure. Other dressings, systems, and methods are disclosed.

Disclosed herein are several embodiments of a reduced pressure appliance and methods of using the same in the treatment of wounds. Some embodiments are directed to improved fluidic connectors or suction adapters for connecting to a wound site, for example using softer, kink-free conformable suction adapters. Certain embodiments are directed to connectors used to connect fluid passage tube used in transmitting negative pressure to a fabric channel used in a suction adapter.

A reduced pressure treatment system includes a first fluid pathway in communication with a reduced pressure source and a second fluid pathway. The system includes a reduced pressure manifold having a substantially gas impermeable barrier and at least one outer conduit defining a lateral edge of an interior region. The outer conduit and the substantially gas impermeable barrier enclose a portion of the interior region. The outer conduit is in fluid communication with one of the first and second fluid pathways. The outer conduit has at least one opening in fluid communication with the interior region. An inner conduit is at least partially disposed within the interior region and is in fluid communication with another of the first and second fluid pathways. The inner conduit has at least one opening in fluid communication with the interior region.

A vacuum system for draining an open wound from liquids exuded therefrom, comprising an enclosure sealable to the wound circumference, a vacuum pump including a disposable pump unit detachably attachable to a non-disposable drive unit, and a waste container for collection of drained liquids. The enclosure has an outlet connected by means of a tube to an inlet of the pump unit and the waste container is connected to an outlet of the pump unit, such that when the vacuum pump is operated the drained liquids flow through the vacuum pump. The enclosure has one or more bleeding holes provided therethrough or adjacent to its outlet so that ambient air may enter the tube and flow together with the drained liquids. The enclosure and the waste container are disposable so that the drained liquids contact only disposable elements and may be disposed of together with all disposable elements

The invention relates to a tilt and slide cover in a vehicle roof. The tilt and slide cover comprises a cover and a frame, which is supported in lateral guides of a roof opening. The special feature of the tilt and slide cover lies in the fact that the cover is arranged relatively moveable in relation to the frame and can be locked to and released from this. The frame comprises a plastic section, into which the slide guide and other fittings such as slide cheek holders or the like can be integrated in one piece. It is also possible to fix the rear water collection channel directly on the frame.

Wound dressings, systems, and methods are presented for treating a wound on a patient's limb, such as a venous leg ulcer. The dressings, systems, and methods involve creating airflow within the dressing to vaporize and remove liquid. The airflow may begin when the dressing becomes saturated. The dressings may be used to provide compression and reduced pressure to the wound. Other systems, methods, and dressings are presented herein.
