    摘要： This runner is for disposable skids, pallets and the like load-bearing platforms which are entirely made of corrugated cardboard. It consists of an elongated tubular member made of double face corrugated cardboard and secured under the skid panel and including a top web, a base web and two side walls. A reinforcement strip is located within the member; this strip has an undulated shape and a straight cross-section. It is built up of several laminations of single face corrugated cardboard with the corrugations vertically disposed. It is substantially parallel to the walls, its top and bottom edges secured to the top and bottom webs respectively and its opposite rounded crests in alternate contact with the walls and secured to the latter spacedly from one another longitudinally of the member. The strip only partially fills the volume of the elongated member. The pitch of the sinusoidal strip can be shortened in selected areas to further reinforce the runner in these areas.

    摘要： A lightweight, high strength disposable or recyclable corrugated pallet. The corrugated pallet is formed from one or more sheets of flat corrugated material, at least one of which is scored and cut to form a plurality of spaced apart opposing panels. The panels are hingedly connected to the primary sheet and folded downwardly normal to the bottom surface of the sheet(s) defining a pair of opposing panel support legs. A generally square aperture is formed in the surface of the sheet upon folding of the panels. A support member complementary sized and shaped according to the aperture formed in the sheet and the length of the opposing panel support legs is inserted through the aperture and secured between the pair of opposing panel support legs, preferably with an adhesive. The support member is formed from one or more layers of a narrow strip of corrugated material having a plurality of scores cut therein along the surface of one side for bending said strip into a generally square configuration. The flutes of the corrugated material comprising the support member and opposing panel support legs are oriented in the vertical plane to maximize the strength to weight ratio.A corrugated leg wrap support member utilizing a sheet of corrugated material having a plurality of score lines is folded inwardly forming a generally rectangular conduit support member for use in combination with the corrugated pallet.

The pallet is stable and can be produced in standard dimensions.

    摘要： The field of invention relates to a corrugated cardboard pallet of the type generally formed by a pair or more of pallet decks which are stacked atop one another, each of which has finger elements die cut therein radiating outwardly from a central circle and terminating on a circular score line of substantially the same diameter as the inner diameter of one of the leg elements. The die cut lines for the fingers radiate tangentially outwardly to create a substantially spiral pattern. The improvement of the present invention is the provision of stress relief circular punch-out sections positioned adjacent the circular score line and having a diametric dimension extending inwardly from the score line in the direction of the central circle and laterally on each side of each of the die cut lines. The stress relief punch-out sections function to relieve the stress caused when the finger elements are folded downwardly in order to accept the attachment of the pallet legs to the pallet deck.
