摘要: A pallet and pallet foot is made of corrugated materials such that the entire pallet and pallet foot may be recycled with other corrugated materials (e.g., boxes or the like). The pallet foot is made from shredded corrugated waste which is made into a slurry and molded, using a wet pulp process, to form a molded pallet foot. The pallet foot may be glued to a corrugated deck provided with cutouts in the deck surface. Cutouts accept pallet feet from another pallet such that multiple pallets may be stacked in a nesting manner. The pallet feet may be further fortified with a water resistant coating. The resulting pallet is lightweight, strong, and readily recyclable.

摘要: A resealable jar for liquid, semi-solid, or solid content comprises a body having a rigid fibrous wall that at least partially defines a lumen and an open end, and a child resistant cap sized and dimensioned to engage the open end of the jar body. The cap is configured to be deformable to releaseably engage the open end of the jar body. The body could be composed of a paper or a fibrous material, and the cap could be composed of biodegradable material. The cap could be disengaged from the jar body by application of a force to a deformable center section, or to pinch tabs, or to a pull tab of the cap.

摘要: The present invention provides a single wrap container and a method for forming such a container and a blank therefor. The blank and, hence, the container are formed of a multilayer web that has an inner liner ply and an outer label ply, each adhered to opposite sides of a paper ply, which can be recycled paper. The multilayer web is cut to a predetermined shape, for example, using a rotary die, thereby forming the blank. The container can then be formed by singly wrapping the blank so that helical wrapping is not required and a seam formed by joining the edges of the blank is linear.

摘要: This invention provides a paper molded cushion having a sufficient shock absorbing ability without substantial deformation during the drying process even if the shape of the cushion is very complex. The process comprises the steps of mechanically fluffing waste paper or pulp, adding a proper amount of adhesive to the fluffed paper of pulp, mixing uniformly, casting the mixture in a mold having water drainage small apertures thereof, heating said mold with the mixture therein by dielectric heating or microwave heating, thereby drying the molded paper cushion to a predetermined water content level and taking out the molded paper cushion from the mold. It is also possible to heat and dry the molded paper product under reduced pressure conditions for accelerating the water evaporation or to add a small amount of foamable synthetic plastic particles with the adhesive for making voids inside the molded paper cushion; consequently, the weight of the paper cushion is effectively reduced and the shock absorbing ability is increased. Further if the shape of the product is complex, the mold is divided into plurality of cross-sectional layer parts corresponding to the cross-section of the desired shape and the molded paper parts are assembled with adhesives to form the final shape of the paper cushion.
