    摘要: A method for forming a vertical coupling structure for non-adjacent resonators is provided to have a first and a second resonators, a dielectric material layer, a first and a second high-frequency transmission lines and at least one via pole. The first and the second resonators respectively have a first and a second opposite metal surfaces. The dielectric material layer is disposed between the opposite second metal surfaces of the first and the second resonators. The first and the second transmission lines are respectively arranged at sides of the first metal surfaces of the first resonator and the second resonator.     摘要: A microwave filter has resonator comprised of a cylindrical structure having conductive walls filled with a dielectric material where the cylindrical structure is recessed inside a multi-layered substrate. First and second conductive coupling arms are disposed on a top layer of the substrate for coupling signals to the cylindrical structure. The conductive coupling arms are separated by a dielectric layer. The first and second conductive coupling arms extend away from the center of the cylindrical structure to form a microstrip line. The cylindrical structure further comprises a bottom portion having a solid conductive bottom plate perpendicular to the axis of the cylinder and a bottom conductive ground layer separated from the conductive bottom plate by a second dielectric layer.

    摘要: The invention provides a particularly compact waveguide-type filter that can be easily adapted to a microstrip circuit. The waveguide filter comprises at least three mutually coupled resonant cavities 14 to 19. The filter is coupled to a microstrip circuit placed on a substrate 10. At least one cavity 14, 15, 18 and 19 lies on one side of the substrate 10 and at least one other cavity 16, 17 lies on the other side of the substrate 10. The cavities distributed on either side of the substrate have the effect of greatly reducing the size of the filter. The invention also relates to an outdoor transmission unit that includes the said filter.

    摘要: The present invention provides a dielectric waveguide filter comprising a plurality of dielectric waveguide resonators in the form of rectangular parallelepiped-shaped blocks aligned as a single main body having opposite ends defined by respective the end blocks located thereat, and a pair of input and output electrodes provided in the end blocks, respectively. Each of the end blocks is formed with a protruding portion including a dielectric substance extended from that therein. A conductive strip line extending from the bottom surface of corresponding one of the end blocks to the edge region of the bottom surface of corresponding one of the protruding portions. The bottom surfaces have a region where the dielectric substance in contact with the both sides of the conductive strip line is exposed to outside. The conductive strip lines are coupled with micro-strip lines or co-planer lines on a printed circuit board having a given length to obtain an adequate matching between input and output signals.

Conductor layers (2a, 2c) are formed on the top and bottom surfaces of a dielectric substrate (1), wherein the top conductor layer 2a and the bottom conductor layer 2c are connected together through via-holes (3a). The via-holes (3a) are formed in at least two rows along the signal transfer direction. In the dielectric waveguide tube configured by the top and bottom conductor layers (2a, 2c) and the via-holes (3a), via-holes (3b) are arranged in the signal transfer direction at spacing equal to or below null of the in-tube wavelength to thereby configure resonators. The dielectric band-pass filter is configured by coupling adjacent resonators together through the via-holes (3b) configuring inductive windows. On the surface of the dielectric substrate (1), a co-planar line (4) including the conductor layer (2) as the ground and the conductor layer (2b) as a signal conductor is configured so as to overstride the inductive windows configured by the via-holes (3a).

    摘要: A planar mode converter includes a rectangular waveguide, a microstrip feed-in circuit, and a microstrip feed-out circuit. The rectangular waveguide is filled with dielectric layers and surrounded with metal materials. The lowermost dielectric layer has usually largest thickness and dielectric constant. Except for the lowermost dielectric layer, each of the dielectric layers has a rectangular aperture at its front-end and back-end, respectively. The microstrip feed-in circuit is constituted by first, second and third metal strips, and a feed-in metal ground plane. The first metal strip and the feed-in metal ground plane form a feed-in signal line. The first, second and third metal strips are adhered to the top surface of the lowermost dielectric layer, and the feed-in metal ground plane is adhered to the bottom surface of the lowermost dielectric layer. The microstrip feed-out circuit is constituted of fourth, fifth and sixth metal strips, and a feed-out metal ground plane. The sixth metal strip and the feed-out metal strip form a feed-out signal line.

    摘要: A dielectric duplexer or multiplexer in which a conducting film is formed on a dielectric block in a dielectric waveguide resonator, and a through-hole is formed in the dielectric block. A terminal electrode is formed on the outer surface of the dielectric block. One end of the coupling electrode is connected to the terminal electrode and the other end of the coupling electrode is either connected to the conducting film formed on the outer surface of the dielectric block or terminated inside the dielectric block. The above structure allows an increase in the degree of freedom in the design of the characteristics including the resonance frequency and unloaded Q of the dielectric waveguide resonator. The invention also provides a dielectric waveguide filter with a simple coupling mechanism whereby it is possible to couple to an external circuit without having to use an additional member and without electromagnetic leakage.
