    摘要: A coplanar stripline is provided, including a dielectric substrate, and first and second strip conductors, which are each formed on the dielectric substrate, parallel to each other and separated by a predetermined distance. The corrugated structure is formed at least on one side of the strip conductors, including a plurality of slits. The slits are formed periodically on the side of each of the strip conductors, which is located in the outside portion thereof and not facing the other confronting strip conductor, so that the length direction of the slit is substantially perpendicular to the direction of the electromagnetic wave transmitted through the coplanar stripline.

    摘要: A corrugated waveguide filter has a plurality of coupled resonator cavities arranged in a horizontal or vertical manner. The filter may include an input transformer section and an output transformer section for matching the filter to external waveguide lines. Each resonator includes at least two extracted slots (or cavities) that are grouped in close proximity to each other, and which may be symmetrically or asymmetrically implemented in the waveguide. The resonators each contribute one reflection zero and two transmission zeros to the frequency response of the filter, the reflection zero being located within the pass-band of the filter, and the two transmission zeros located either at the high-side or low-side of the pass-band depending upon whether the resonator is a low-pass type or a high-pass type. The dimensions of each resonator, including the depth of the slots and the distance between the slots, determines the position of the reflection zero and whether the resonator is low-pass or high-pass.

    摘要: A harmonic filtering device placed in a high frequency line connecting a radio transmitter to its load with at least one cell in parallel on the line, constituted by an anti-resonant circuit (at the transmission frequency of the transmitter) in series with a resistor, whose value is approximately 1/20th of the characteristic impedance of the line. This cell is made of a coaxial line with four conductors in which inset elements (short-circuit, capacitor, load) form the inductor and the capacitor of the anti-resonant circuit and the resistor. The resistor of this cell has no effect at the transmission frequency of the transmitter and creates insulation between the load and the transmitter for harmonic frequencies.

    摘要: A low pass filter is provided for rectangular waveguide of the type employed for launching electromagnetic energy in microwave ovens. The filter substantially rejects the transmission of harmonic frequencies of the fundamental generator operating frequency as well as adjacent energy oscillation modes. The structure described has a corrugated configuration with ribs defining alternate cavities and constrictions having cutoff frequency characteristics. Uniform and nonuniform spacing as well as dissilimar sections are discussed. The structure is electrically isolated from the broad waveguide walls to define two propagation paths for the electromagnetic energy. Lightweight conductive materials are suggested. The interrelationships of the alternating rib members provide a series of open and short circuit admittances which are analyzed to determine the desired electrical cutoff frequencies. Identical rib structure is defined on opposing sides of a reference plane extending along the longitudinal axis of the waveguide. Transforming means are utilized for impedance matching.
