    摘要: An electric vacuum pump actuating module for boosting the braking force of a motor vehicle, including a main controller and a driver circuit for operating the electric vacuum pump. The driver circuit includes a first and a second switch. The first switch switches a supply voltage above a predefined voltage level of an operating voltage of the vacuum pump. The second switch switches a supply voltage below the voltage level of the vacuum pump. The main controller controls the first switch by first control signals and the second switch by second control signals. The actuating module determines a state of the electric vacuum pump as a first piece of information based on a first response of the electric vacuum pump resulting from the first or second control signals. The actuating module assesses the state of the electric vacuum pump as error-free or erroneous operation of the electric vacuum pump.

    摘要: The present techniques include methods and systems for detecting a failure in a capacitor bank of an electrical drive system. Embodiments include using discharge resistors to discharge capacitors in the capacitor bank, forming a neutral node of the capacitor bank. In different capacitor configurations, the neutral node is measured, and the voltage is analyzed to determine whether a capacitor bank unbalance has occurred. In some embodiments, the node is a neutral-to-neutral node between the discharged side of the discharge resistors and a neutral side of the capacitor bank, or between the discharged side of the discharge resistors and a discharged side of a second set of discharge resistors. In some embodiments, the node is a neutral-to-ground node between the discharged side of the discharge resistors and a ground potential.

    摘要: A protection circuit for brushed DC motors connected between an AC power supply input and a rectifier circuit, including a power supply line, a power supply circuit, an AC detection circuit, a rectifier/filter voltage-stabilizing circuit, a microprocessor, a drive circuit, and a switching unit. The switching unit is connected to the power supply line in series. An input terminal of the power supply circuit is connected with the AC power supply input. The AC detection circuit receives current signals from the power supply line. The current signals are processed by the rectifier/filter voltage-stabilizing circuit and sent to the microprocessor. An output terminal of the microprocessor is connected to an input terminal of the drive circuit, and the drive circuit controls the switching unit to connect or disconnect the power supply circuit.

    摘要: A system and method is provided for improved monitoring and controlling of mechanically commutated DC motors. The system and method include DC motors, pulse-count driver circuitry for driving the motors, motor position sensing circuitry, and motor control circuitry. The system and method provide for improved motor current waveform sensing that is able to effectively reject false brake pulses, avoid erroneous processing due to fluctuating battery voltage levels, and reduce the sensitivity to variations in motor current signals due to dynamic motor load, manufacturing variation, system aging, temperature, brush bounce, EMI, and other factors. The system and method also include an improved ability to multiplex additional external motor drivers to the motor control circuitry, select between sequential and simultaneous drive modes using an SPI bit, and monitor the system controller for an error condition and simultaneously driver motors in response to the error condition.

    摘要: The direct-current motor comprises at least one field winding supplied intermittently with direct-current voltage in order to produce a driving torque by interaction with permanent-magnetic poles which rotate with respect to the winding. The electromotive force of induction produced in the winding by the relative rotation of the permanent-magnetic poles is detected by means of a voltage measurement during the time intervals which elapse when the winding is not energized. A low-speed signal is produced when the electromotive force is below a pre-established threshold in correlation with the desired speed-threshold value.

    摘要: A driving circuit for a brushless motor having a permanent-magnetic rotor is disclosed which is capable of positively carrying out starting of the motor and rapidly interrupting exciting current to protect the motor, when the rotor fails to rotate during the normal operation. The driving circuit includes transistor control circuits each including a capacitor, a PUT, and a capacitor charging circuit comprising a Zener diode and a resistor; and a resistor series circuit for flowing conductive signal current to a transistor switch which serves to supply current to exciting windings. The PUT is conductive to allow the transistor switch to be kept non-conductive when the capacitor is charged to a predetermined voltage.
