The apparatus includes a mixing unit for creating a mixture of the diluent and the additive, a diluent supply supplying the diluent to the mixing unit, an additive supply supplying the additive to the mixing unit, an outlet for dispensing the mixture. The diluent supply includes a pump arranged to increase the pressure of the diluent before the diluent enters the mixing unit.

Abstract: Embodiments include systems and methods of in-line mixing of hydrocarbon liquids and/or renewable liquids from a plurality of tanks into a single pipeline based on density or gravity. According to an embodiment, a method of admixing hydrocarbon liquids from a plurality of tanks into a single pipeline to provide in-line mixing thereof includes initiating a blending process. The blending process including continuously blending two or more liquids over a period of time, each of the two or more liquids stored in corresponding tanks, each of the corresponding tanks connected, via pipeline, to a blend pipe thereby blending the two or more liquids into a blended liquid. The method further includes determining a density of each of the two or more liquids to be blended during the blending process. The method includes, in response to a determination that the blend process has not finished and after the passage of a specified time interval, determining an actual blend density of the blended liquid, via a blend sensor connected to the blend pipe, the blended liquid flowing through the blend pipe and in contact with the blend sensor, and the specified time interval less than a total duration of the blending process. The method includes determining an actual blend density of the blended liquid, via a blend sensor connected to the blend pipe, the blended liquid flowing through the blend pipe and in contact with the blend sensor, and the specified time interval less than a total duration of the blending process; comparing the actual blend density with a target blend density; and in response to a difference, based on the comparison, of the actual blend density and target blend density determining a corrected ratio based on each density of the two or more liquids, the actual blend density, and the target blend density and adjusting, via one or more flow control devices, flow of one or more of the two or more liquids, based on the corrected ratio.

Abstract: A split-type blade, a fluid drive device and a fluid drive proportional mixer. The split-type blade is used as a component of the fluid drive device to convert pressure energy of fluid into mechanical energy. The split-type blade comprises: one or more push rods, each push rod being suitable for being arranged on a rotor of the fluid drive device in a radially slidable manner; and two valve plates, the two valve plates being respectively mounted in parallel at two end portions of the push rods, and each valve plate extending outwards along the push rods to form the split-type blade having a running-through push rod structure. In this way, when the split-type blade drives the rotor to rotate under the effect of a fluid, the push rods of each split-type blade slide in a radial direction relative to the rotor.

Abstract: A beverage container has a housing, a controllable flow restriction element, and at least two liquid storage compartments in the housing. The housing is relatively rotatable with respect to the controllable flow restriction element about a main axis for rotation of the controllable flow restriction element between a closed liquid flow position and an open liquid flow position. The controllable flow restriction element has openings therein within the housing. Rotation of the controllable flow restriction element toward the closed position effects the closed position. Mixing of liquids from the first liquid compartment and the second liquid compartment are effected by rotational movement of the controllable flow restriction element.

The blended fluid flow includes a blended flow of the first fluid flow and the second fluid flow. The method further includes comparing the determined ratio to a pre-selected set point ratio thereby to determine a modified flow of the second fluid flow to drive the ratio toward the pre-selected set point ratio. The method further includes controlling a variable speed drive connected to a pump thereby to control the second fluid flow through the pump based on the determined modified flow, the pump being in fluid communication with the second fluid flow.

Abstract: A admixing system for fire extinguishing systems for producing an extinguishing agent-extinguishing agent additive mixture (premix) by mixing an extinguishing agent additive with an extinguishing agent. The admixing system has a motor that can be driven by a flow of extinguishing agent, an admixing pump connected to the motor for pumping the extinguishing agent additive, an admixing line, and an extinguishing agent additive line, from which the extinguishing agent additive is mixed with the extinguishing agent in the admixing line. The admixing system has a branching line, from which a part of the flow of extinguishing agent can be branched off if the load in the fire extinguishing system only requires a small flow of extinguishing agent. In this manner, the flow of extinguishing agent flowing through the motor is artificially increased so that the motor runs in a higher rotational speed range in which a reliable operation of the motor is ensured (a so-called start-up flow reduction). The admixing system has a motor rotational speed measuring device and a controller, said controller being designed to completely or partly open and/or close the branching valve on the basis of the motor rotational speed measured by the motor rotational speed measuring device.
