    摘要: The invention relates to a single-screw extruder comprising a cylinder (1), which comprises a transition zone (14), and a homogenizing zone (12) that is connected to the transition zone (14), and a screw (2) which is rotatably supported in the cylinder (1) and which has at least two consecutive displacement parts (6, 8) in the homogenizing zone (12), the second displacement part of which in the conveying direction is designed as a shearing part. The aim of the invention is to provide a single-screw extruder which enables an improved melting effect along with an increased throughput, a lowered melt temperature, and an improved pressurization capability. According to the invention, it was recognized that this aim can be achieved in that at least one groove (4) running in the longitudinal direction in the inner cylinder wall is provided in the homogenization zone (12) of the single-screw extruder, and said groove ends in the area between a first displacement part and the subsequent shearing part (8) as viewed in the conveying direction.

To sustainably enhance the efficiency of the machine as regards its material thruput per unit of time the screw shaft (3) comprises at least four groups of radial screw vanes (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d) evenly distributed circumferentially, each group consisting of a plurality of screw vanes in axial sequence. The outer diameter (Da) of the screw shaft ranges from 400 to 800 millimeters. The rotary speed of the screw shaft (3) ranges from 30 to 80 rpm. A mixing and kneading machine (1) engineered as such is particularly suitable for compounding an anodic mass in the production of electrodes—anodes—for the aluminum industry.

The system comprises of a clamp that includes an upper arm, and a lower arm connected to the upper arm at one edge of the upper arm. The upper and lower arms cooperating to define a recess configured to receive a pair of extruder barrel sections. The clamp further includes a locking structure configured to lock the upper arm to the lower arm with the pair of extruder barrel sections therebetween. The system further comprises of a support structure for the clamp that includes a bracket connected to the clamp and a column connected to a base of the extruder. The bracket and column are connected to each other such that relative movement between the bracket and the column is permitted axially along the extruder barrels sections. An extruder is also disclosed.

    摘要: The invention concerns an extruder for producing molted plastic materials from plastic granules available on the market, by heating and mixing granules, with heated single- or double-screw extruders, and for carrying out polycondensation or polymerization using part of a multiple-screw extruder and by means of vacuum chambers for removing the constituents of low molecular weight and/or foaming agents or the like, for obtaining larger molecules and hence a higher viscosity, and for increasing the mechanical strength of plastic materials produced from said molten material. The invention aims at designing said extruder such that the molten material can be processed in thin layers enabling exposure of large surfaces in contact with the vacuum, and hence a molten plastic material ensuring desired levels of degassing and polymerization using simple means. Therefor, the envelopes of the stems of the screws (7) are mutually spaced apart at least in the polycondensation zone of said extruder part with multiple screws (6), relative to the extruder screw (4) or its shaft section (10) and relative to cylindrical zones enclosing them, by a distance not less than zero (≧0).
