摘要: An electromagnetic wave absorber includes a first layer and a second layer disposed on the first layer. The first layer may include a first reinforcing fiber impregnated in a first matrix. The second layer may include a second reinforcing fiber impregnated in a second matrix. The second reinforcing fiber may be plated with a metal magnetic coating layer. The electromagnetic wave absorber may provide electromagnetic wave absorbing ability with a low uncertainty without reducing mechanical properties due to the metal magnetic coating layer.

摘要: Materials and methods for mitigating passive intermodulation. A membrane for reducing passive intermodulation includes a first polymeric layer, a second polymeric layer, and a continuous metal layer encapsulated between the first and second polymeric layers. A self-adhesive radio frequency barrier tape includes a waterproof polymeric top layer, a metal-containing layer adhered by an adhesive layer to the polymeric top layer, a pressure sensitive adhesive layer adhered to the metal-containing layer, and a release liner on a bottom surface of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer. A method of mitigating passive intermodulation includes passing a probe over an area of interest, the probe being sensitive to an intermodulation frequency of interest, and identifying a suspected source of passive intermodulation when the amplitude of the probe output exceeds a threshold at the frequency of interest. The method further includes covering the suspected passive intermodulation source with a radio frequency barrier material.

摘要: A method and apparatus for making an antenna for a radio-frequency identification device uses a forming device that rotates around an axis and includes shaping elements movable in a direction parallel to the rotation axis. A guiding device including a guiding element is movable in a direction substantially perpendicular to the rotation axis relative to the shaping elements of the forming device go guide a flexible wire or braided wires around the shaping elements to shape the wire in the form of an antenna. At least one gripper on the forming device immobilizes a free end of the wire. The antenna is laid on and connected with the upper surface of a substrate.

摘要: A magnetic isolator includes a dielectric film having a layer of electrically-conductive soft magnetic material bonded thereto. The layer of electrically-conductive soft magnetic material comprises substantially coplanar electrically-conductive soft magnetic islands separated one from another by gaps. At least some of the electrically-conductive soft magnetic islands have an outer insulating oxidized layer that electrically insulates them from adjacent electrically-conductive soft magnetic islands. The gaps at least partially suppress electrical eddy current induced within the layer of soft magnetic material when in the presence of applied external magnetic field. An electronic device including the magnetic isolator and a method of making the magnetic isolator are also disclosed.

The disclosed antenna module includes a flexible magnetic sheet and an antenna sheet on which a radiation pattern and an insertion hole are formed, and the magnetic sheet is formed with an extension portion formed on one short side, and the extension portion is penetrated and inserted into the insertion hole to be coupled with the antenna sheet.
