An electric pump device is provided with an oil pump that supplies oil to a stepless transmission device, a brushless motor that drives the oil pump, and a control device that controls the brushless motor. The control device is provided with a power supply part that supplies drive power to the brushless motor, and an out-of-synch determination part that determines whether or not the brushless motor is out of synch. The control device is provided with a drive control part that controls the power supply part so that supply of power to the brushless motor is stopped, and then controls the power supply part so that the brushless motor is started, when the out-of-synch determination part determines that the brushless motor is out of synch.

摘要: A stepping motor control circuit includes a rotation detecting means which detects an induced signal generated by rotation of a rotor of a stepping motor, and detects a rotation state of the stepping motor according to whether the induced signal exceeds a predetermined reference threshold voltage in a predetermined detection section, and a control means which controls driving of the stepping motor by using any one of a plurality of main driving pulses having energies different from each other or a correction driving pulse with energy higher than energy of each main driving pulse according to a detection result of the rotation detecting means. The detection section is divided into a first section immediately after driving by the main driving pulse, a second section after the first section and a third section after the second section. During the driving of the stepping motor by the main driving pulse, when the rotation detecting means has detected an induced signal exceeding a first reference threshold voltage in the first section and the second section, if an induced signal exceeding a second reference threshold voltage lower than the first reference threshold voltage is not detected in the third section, the control means drives the stepping motor by using the correction driving pulse.

摘要: A stepping motor controller is disclosed that is capable of reducing power consumption of a stepping motor. The stepping motor controller includes a storage unit to store object values of a driving current of the stepping motor, an accumulation unit to accumulate an amount of operation of the stepping motor, and a driving current setting unit to read out an object value corresponding to the amount of operation from the storage unit and set the driving current to the object value. Alternatively, the stepping motor controller includes an accumulation unit that calculates a cumulative amount of operation of the stepping motor, and a driving current setting unit that, when the amount of operation is greater than a predetermined value, determines a critical out-of-step current of the stepping motor by changing in increments the value of the driving current of the stepping motor, and sets the critical out-of-step current with a predetermined margin added as an object driving current of the stepping motor.

摘要: A stop and jamming detection system in a stepping motor determines a parameter from the profile of an instantaneous motor variable and compares it to a reference value. A signal for the stop and jamming detection system is generated therefrom. Provided for this purpose is an analysis circuit which detects, as the instantaneous motor variable, the voltage that is induced in at least one unenergized winding of the stepping motor and is brought about by an energized winding of the stepping motor, and analyzes it as to whether the stepping motor is jammed or movable. In the analysis by the analysis circuit, a decision is made as to a hard or an elastic jam. With a hard jam, the stationary armature means that no voltage is induced, while with an elastic jam, because the step is not completed, the recoil of the armature into its original position induces an opposite-phase voltage peak which is detected.

摘要: A process and a circuit arrangement are proposed for electronically monitoring the overload on electric motor drives and in the case of which process and circuit arrangement speed is .monitored in addition to the known methods for real power monitoring. This also enables monitoring of the operating state of an electric motor drive, which is subject to a load, below the nominal rotation speed. This allows monitoring of the overload not only in the case of electric motor drives in the direct-current mode but also in the pulsed mode, as well as in the case of stepping motors.

摘要: A device for detecting asynchronization or stepping out of a stepping motor without making the stepping motor large in size. Parallel resonance circuit LC is provided in a recovery circuit of stator coil RL of the stepping motor for detecting linking current IX. If the stepping motor is out of step, the magnetic resistance between stator and rotor increases while the reactance of stator coil RL decreases. When motor drive current ID is turned off, a large transient current is momentarily generated yet is quickly dampened. While the motor drive current ID is off, linking current IX approaches zero. Consequently, if the stepping motor is out of step, there is no substantial difference in the linking current IX when motor drive current ID is turned on from when motor drive current ID was off. Also, the amplitude of the transient or resonance waveform is smaller than the amplitude when the stepping motor is operating normally. By thus detecting the resonance waveform of the parallel resonance circuit when motor drive current ID is turned on, it can be precisely determined whether or not the stepping motor is out of step.
