摘要: In a control device controlling a drive circuit that drives an in-vehicle electric motor based on an output voltage of a DC power source, a capacitor for stabilizing the output voltage is disposed between the DC power source and the drive circuit, and a relay switch is disposed between the DC power source and the capacitor. The control device includes: an anomaly determining device that determines whether an anomaly occurs in a vehicle; and a discharge control device that controls the drive circuit to generate a torque at the electric motor based on an output voltage of the capacitor in a state where the relay switch disconnects between the DC power source and the capacitor when the anomaly determining device determines that the anomaly occurs in the vehicle.

摘要: Disclosed herein are methods for detecting and correcting a fault induced delayed voltage recovery event in an electric power transmission and distribution system. In some embodiments, a fault detection subsystem may receive an indication of a fault in the electric power transmission and distribution system. The system may also include a load analysis subsystem to analyze a plurality of loads supplied by the electric power system and to generate an estimated response of the loads. A fault analysis subsystem may analyze a plurality of factors relating to the fault and to determine a probability of the fault generating a fault induced delayed voltage recovery event. A control system may then implement a control strategy within a control window following the fault based on the probability of the fault generating a fault induced delayed voltage recovery event and the estimated response of the at least one load.

摘要: A motor drive apparatus for driving a motor in a normal rotation direction or a reverse rotation direction in accordance with a state of operation of an operation switch has a first semiconductor switching device that switches ON/OFF state based on a normal rotation instruction provided by the operation switch, a second semiconductor switching device that switches ON/OFF state based on a reverse rotation instruction provided by the operation switch, a control circuit for controlling drive of the motor in the normal rotation direction or the reverse rotation direction, based on the ON/OFF state of the first and second semiconductor switching devices, and a wetting detection circuit for detecting wetting and controlling operation of the first and second semiconductor switching devices. The control circuit has a first terminal connected to the first semiconductor switching device, a second terminal connected to the second semiconductor switching device, a low level terminal for receiving and outputting a signal having a voltage value lower than a reference voltage value defined in advance, and a high level terminal for receiving and outputting a signal having a voltage value higher than the reference voltage value. When the wetting detection circuit detects wetting, voltage values of the first terminal and the second terminal are less than the reference voltage value. The first terminal and the second terminal are separated from the high level terminal, and are arranged in proximity to the low level terminal.

摘要: A system for calculating control pulse duration for optimal stepper motor performance. Duration of control pulses to a stepper motor is increased until stepper motor function begins. The duration of control pulses continues to be increased. It is determined whether stepper motor failure is detected. In response to detecting a failure, the duration of control pulses at the time of the failure is recorded. The duration of control pulses is decreased until stepper motor function is restored. The duration of control pulses continues to be decreased. It is determined whether a second failure is detected. In response to detecting a second failure, the duration of control pulses at the time of the second failure is recorded. A control pulse duration is calculated that optimizes performance of the stepper motor using recorded control pulse duration data. The calculated control pulse duration is applied to the stepper motor.

摘要: According to the invention, a method for determining the radial position of a rotatable object is disclosed. The method may include providing targets at known relative radial positions coupled with the object, where a radial distance between any two adjacent targets is substantially not equal to the radial distance between any other two adjacent targets. The method may also include rotating the object about an axis, where the distance of the rotation is believed to be known. The method may further include determining, during rotation, that a first target is in proximity to a point fixed relative to the axis. The method may additionally include determining, during rotation of the object, that a second target is at least in proximity the point fixed relative to the axis. The method may moreover include comparing of the believed known rotation with the known relative radial positions of the plurality of targets.
