摘要: A vacuum valve including a valve body with first and second valve openings, first and second closure elements attached to a valve rod, a longitudinally adjustable transmission piece attached to the valve rod that is adjustable from an open position into an intermediate position, and in a transverse adjustment direction from the intermediate position into a first closing position, and counter thereto into a second closing position. The transmission piece is connected to the valve body via a longitudinal stroke linear guide and a transverse stroke linear guide having a transverse stroke guide part which extends parallel to an oblique adjustment direction and a transverse stroke carriage displaceably guided thereon. To adjust the transmission piece from the intermediate position into the first or second closing position, the transverse stroke carriage is linearly displaceable in or counter to the oblique adjustment direction from a central position into a first or second press-on position.

摘要: A technique provides for management of multiple flow assurance functionalities in a pipe-in-pipe system. A station for use in a subsea pipe-in-pipe system may comprise an inner flow conduit to provide an inner flow passage for a first fluid and an outer flow conduit to provide an annular flow passage for a second fluid. The station also may comprise a network of valves and conduits coupled to the inner flow conduit and to the outer flow conduit. The valves are individually adjustable to enable selection of multiple flow assurance functionalities so as to ensure continued fluid flow capability following a plug. Depending on the parameters of a given application, a plurality of the stations may be combined with a plurality of pipe-in-pipe sections to form a suitable subsea pipe-in-pipe system.

摘要: A fluidic device controls fluid flow in channel from a source to a drain. In some embodiments, the fluidic devices comprises a gate, a channel, and an obstruction. The gate comprises at least one chamber whose volume increases with fluid pressure. A high pressure state of the gate corresponds to a first chamber size and a low pressure state of the gate corresponds to a second chamber size that is smaller than the first chamber size. The obstruction controls a rate of fluid flow within the channel based on the fluid pressure in the gate. The obstruction induces at most a first flow rate of fluid in the channel in accordance with the low pressure state of the gate, and at least a second flow rate of the fluid in the channel in accordance with the high pressure state of the gate.

摘要: An electronically controlled thermostat device simplifies an insulating structure and external portions of the lead wires of a heater incorporated for temperature control of a thermo-element, reduces the number of different parts, and facilitates assembly. A pair of insulating rod pieces clamps the heater at the front and clamps a pair of lead wires from the heater while maintaining an insulated state, and a connector member attached to a side of the insulating rod pieces opposite the portion that holds the heater is mounted on the outside of a device housing. The connector member at an inner end has connector terminals provided with a pair of lead end connecting pieces to which the lead wires are connected, and has an engaging concave portion that engages an engaging convex portion for preventing twisting provided on a side of the insulating rod pieces opposite the portion that holds the heater.

摘要: Purge valves (I 09, I 09′, 200) that are manually turned ON but are automatically or electrically turned OFF as the fuel cell (108)'s production of electricity reaches a predetermined level, e.g., steady state or thereabout are disclosed. The purge valve may be opened at system start-up, or may be opened at system shut-down so that the purge valve is anned and the fuel cell system is purged at the next start-up. Also disclosed is an integrated fluidic interface module (10) that contains various fluidic components including one of these purge valves. The integrated fluidic interface module (10) can operate passively or without being actively controlled by a processor. Methods of operating a fuel cell system, wherein the fuel cell system is purged at system start-up, are also disclosed. The purging automatically stops when the anode plenum is fully purged and replaced with fuel.

摘要: An electric waste gate valve control device controls a waste gate valve provided in a waste gate passage that bypasses a portion between an upstream and a downstream of a turbine driven by exhaust of an engine and opening/closing the waste gate passage by an electric actuator. The electric waste gate valve control device includes: a position sensor that detects a position of the waste gate valve; an actuator controller that controls the electric actuator such that an opening degree of the waste gate valve becomes a target opening degree; and a fully closed position learning unit that performs fully closed position learning to acquire the position of the waste gate valve at a time when the electric actuator is driven to bring the waste gate valve into a fully closed state.

摘要: A controlled brake solenoid valve assembly includes a housing defining a channel. An actuating member including an armature and a plunger slidably disposed in the channel. A head portion extends outwardly from the plunger to a distal end. A drawn seat includes a narrowed portion disposed in the channel and defines a first compartment, a shoulder, and a hole. An elastic member disposed in the channel to bias the actuating member away from the drawn seat to define an opened position. The actuating member includes an actuator for moving the plunger from the opened position to a closed position. The distal end includes a restricting member, disposed in the hole, extending outwardly from the distal end, spaced from the terminal end, for providing annular fluid flow. A restricting block defines a restricting orifice having a variable diameter disposed in the first compartment to provide an orifice fluid flow.
