    摘要: An arrangement is disclosed for projecting an identifying image from a data carrier on to a film in a cassette provided with a window which may be sealed against light. The arrangement has an opening mechanism for pushing a cover for the window open and closed. The arrangement further has a projection mechanism and switch means for triggering the opening mechanism and the exposure. The opening mechanism has an engaging device which is guided on a carriage and engages the window cover. The engaging device, which is held in engagement with the window cover via a spring, may be disengaged from the same in any position of the carriage by means of a lifting mechanism. The lifting mechanism has a crank which is connected with the engaging device and is operable from externally.

    摘要: A dye preparation consists of a water-soluble acid dye and a water-insoluble basic carrier. The carrier consists of crosslinked polymer particles of average particle diameter of less than 1 .mu.m and contains at least 2 mVal/g of quaternary ammonium or phosphonium groups. The dye reacts with the carrier in an ion exchange reaction and forms a dye polymer latex which can easily isolated in solid form, stored indefinitely and redispersed in water whenever required. It forms a so-called self-dispersing dye preparation. The dye preparation is useful for making dyed layers such as in photographic recording materials.

    摘要: Apparatus is disclosed for threading tapping holes in workpieces wherein the tapping hole is surrounded by a surface having alternating recesses and arcuate projections which are to be threaded. The apparatus has a hold-down plate one side of which is movable against the exposed side of the workpiece, a carrier which is reciprocable toward and away from the workpiece by a plunger and a spring, a tool holder which has external threads meshing with the internal threads of a nut in the hold-down plate and a helical cam groove receiving a pin of the carrier, and a fluted tap which is coaxially affixed to the holder and extends into the tapping hole when the hold-down plate abuts against the workpiece whereby the externally threaded ribs of the tap which alternate with the flutes extend into the recesses in the surface surrounding the tapping hole. The carrier is thereupon moved toward the hold-down plate to cause the tool holder to rotate whereby the tool holder moves axially and the tap cuts or rolls threads into the projections between the recesses in the surface surrounding the tapping hole. The length of the cam groove determines the extent of rotation of the tap, and such extent is selected with a view to ensure that each rib of the tap moves from a preceding recess into the next-following recess when the surface bounding one end of the cam groove terminates the movement of the carrier toward the hold-down plate. The carrier, the means for moving the carrier and the hold-down plate can constitute parts of a stamping machine.

    摘要: A cassette with two chambers for discrete cut films has a centrally disposed plate-like partition with two identical sides, and a pair of identical covers each of which is adjacent to a different side of the partition and is pivotably attached to the partition by a hinge for movement between an open and a closed position. The covers have exposure apertures and carry slidable plate-like shutters which can slide in slots of the respective covers to permit or prevent entry of light by way of the respective apertures. The film chambers are separated from each other by the central portion of the partition, and the latter further carries locks for releasably holding the covers in their closed positions. The lock for one of the covers is provided at that side of the partition which is adjacent to the other cover, and vice versa. The hinge or hinges for one of the covers are provided on a first marginal portion of the substantially rectangular partition, and the lock for such one cover is provided on a second marginal portion which is parallel to the first marginal portion. The hinge or hinges and the lock for the other cover are respectively provided on the second and first marginal portions of the partition.

    摘要: An arrangement for developing or fixing film has a container for accommodating a developing or fixing solution. A pair of spaced strips or sheets extend across the container. The surfaces of the strips or sheets which face one another are provided with a series of aligned slots. The slots are designed to receive roller racks for transporting film through the developing of fixing solution. The spacing and arrangement of the slots are such that several racks having the same width, or several racks having different widths, may be arranged side-by-side in the container. Each rack has a main gear which drives all of the rolls of the respective rack. The main gears of adjacent racks are coupled to one another while the main gear of one of the racks is further connected to a drive located outside of the container. This drive thus actuates all of the racks in the container. The racks have alignment rods for aligning the racks relative to one another and to the container. The arrangement makes it possible to process several films simultaneously regardless of whether or not the various films have the same width or different widths. The racks may have different lengths so that different dwell times in the developing or fixing solution may be obtained. This makes it possible to simultaneously process films having different sensitivities and/or films produced by different manufacturers.
