Abstract:
An application method for applying an adhesive to an object includes applying, prior to applying the adhesive to a specified part of the object, the adhesive to a part different from the specified part, calculating an application quantity of the adhesive applied to the part different from the specified part, making a first correction configured to correct an application condition of the adhesive based on basis of a result of the calculation, and applying the adhesive to the specified part using the application condition corrected in the first correction.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device (100) and method for coating a surface, in particular a surface of a plate-shaped workpiece (W). The device and method can be used, for example, in the field of the furniture and components industry.
Abstract:
A system, a method and a machine for treating threads or parts thereof, the machine having one or more cartridges each configured for containing thread treatment-material therein; one or more injectors, each injector being configured for applying treatment-material from its respective cartridge over a passing portion of the thread; drive means for operating the one or more injectors; and a communication and control unit for receiving treatment plan data indicative of at least one machine readable treatment related parameter associated with at least one treatment effect for each thread portion to be treated for controlling the treatment effect of each passing thread portion, according to the received treatment plan data. A designated application of the system may be used having a unique user interface allowing creating treatment plans.
Abstract:
A device for applying oil on a chain of a two-wheeler, such as a bicycle (10), comprises: a container for the oil to be applied; an outlet through which the oil may exit from the container; and an applicator configured to repeatedly open and close the outlet during a movement of the device relative to the chain in the longitudinal direction of the chain so that the oil located in the container is applied incrementally to the chain.
Abstract:
A tool for impregnating a reinforcing fiber material with plastic comprising a support element supporting face facing and spaced from a cover element covering face. A receiving space, between the supporting and covering faces, is connected to an injection channel for supplying the plastic into the space and comprises an inlet opening for continuously feeding the fiber material into the space, as well as an outlet opening for continuously removing plastic impregnated fiber material. The distance between the supporting and covering faces is constant, perpendicular to a feed direction of the fiber material and parallel to a plane defined by at least one of the supporting and covering faces. The support and cover elements are movable relative to one another such that the distance between the supporting and covering faces in the feed direction is adaptable to a varying thickness of the fiber material fed through the receiving space.
Abstract:
A permeation system for permeating a wetting agent into fabric includes a fabric supply part; a permeation part provided with a permeation device and a height adjustment device; a drying part; and a collecting part for winding the fabric, which has passed through the drying part, around a collecting roll, thereby obtaining functional fabric of uniform quality and increasing productivity of the fabric into which the wetting agent is permeated. A method for manufacturing fabric includes adjusting the height of the permeation paddle contacting the fabric; supplying the fabric; supplying a wetting agent to be permeated into the fabric; rotating the permeation roller and the permeation paddle to permeate the wetting agent into the fabric; drying the fabric into which the wetting agent is permeated; and collecting the fabric.
Abstract:
An apparatus (1) for surface treatment of an elongate object (50), such as a wire rope, while the apparatus (1) travels along the object (50), including a squeegee unit (10) for applying a deformable material, such as a coating material, comprising: a first and a second opening (16, 17) which are mutually aligned and through which said elongated object (50) is able to pass in a longitudinal direction (12), wherein a squeegee element (102) is provided between the first and the second opening (16, 17) defining an opening (15) which is adapted to the cross sectional shape of the elongated object (50) to distribute a coating layer by wiping along the surface of the elongated object (50) passing through said opening (15).

Abstract:
An enameled flat wire includes a flat wire and an enamel coating. The difference in thickness of the enamel coating on flat surfaces between a maximum thickness and a minimum thickness is equal to or less than 25% of the predetermined thickness. The enamel coating prior to baking includes a maximum surface curvature on each of the rounded corners of the wire, and a depression on at least one of the flat surfaces of the wire, the depression has a maximum surface curvature. The maximum surface curvature of the depression is larger than the maximum surface curvature of the enamel coating prior to baking on at least one of the rounded corners thereof.
Abstract:
Liquid dispensing applicators adapted to be mounted to a container of lubricating oil or degreaser and used to lubricate or apply degreaser to a drive chain of a bicycle or motorcycle are disclosed. The applicator housing has an open slot to receive the chain. A wear-resistant and absorbent pad is positioned within the housing to engage the chain. A conduit between the absorbent pad and the container transmits liquid to the absorbent pad such that the chain can be cleaned or lubricated.
