    摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing carbon electrodes by deposition on a substrate, to produce a fuel cell. The method comprises the steps of alternately and/or simultaneously depositing porous carbon and a catalyst onto the substrate by plasma spaying in a vacuum chamber. The catalyst is used to accelerate at least one of the chemical reactions that takes place in the fuel cell. The thickness of each layer of porous carbon is chosen so that the catalyst deposited on this carbon layer is distributed essentially throughout this layer, thereby by providing a layer of catalyzed carbon. The total thickness of catalyzed carbon in the electrode is less than 2 micrometers, and preferably equal to no more than 1 micrometer.

    摘要: The calibrating breathalyzer comprises an alcohol sensor, a non-volatile memory, a processing unit or processor, a display and a housing to house these components. The processing unit can calibrate the breathalyzer using the user's body as a simulator based on the user's metabolism rate, type and amount of alcohol consumed by the user. The processing unit determines a sample time to receive a breath sample from the user based on a time to a predetermined calibration point from the drinking start time calculated using the user's metabolism rate and the determined maximum alcohol level. The BAC % measurement based on the user's breath sample at the sample time is used as a reference point in calibrating the breathalyzer.

The structure is subjected to a mechanical vibration, at a frequency fm in the audible range, by an excitation wave, the area being explored is subjected to an incident electromagnetic wave and the reflected electromagnetic wave is analyzed to deduce therefrom the presence or the absence of liquid in cavities. The Faraday wave induced on the surface of the liquid in the cavity comprises subharmonic frequencies of fm which modulate the reflected electromagnetic wave and make it possible to identify the presence of liquid. A detection apparatus comprises an excitation wave generation device for generating the vibration excitation wave, an electromagnetic wave generation device for generating the incident electromagnetic wave, a measuring device for detecting and measuring the reflected electromagnetic wave, and a signal processor.
