Abstract:
A clip module for fixing a heat dissipation element on a base is disclosed. The clip module includes a body, two pressing elements, a fastener and two linkage elements. The body has a pressing part and a pivot part. The pivot part is located at one end of the body. Each pressing element has a first linkage point, and one end of the pressing elements is coupled to the pivot part. The fastener is suitable to be fastened to the base, and has two second linkage points. The linkage elements connect the first linkage points and the second linkage points. The pressing elements rotate around the pivot part to drive the linkage elements to respectively rotate around the corresponding second linkage points so that the fastener is fastened to the base, and the pressing part presses against the heat dissipation element.
Abstract:
A color filter includes a transparent substrate, a black matrix formed on the transparent substrate, a plurality of banks superposed on the black matrix, and a color layer formed of R, G and B color portions. The black matrix defines a plurality of sub-pixels of the color filter. The banks and the black matrix enclose a plurality of spaces for respectively accommodating the R, G and B color portions. Wherein, a plurality of groups is defined, each group includes a plurality of sub-pixels of concolorous color portions, at least one channel is formed on the bank between adjacent sub-pixels of concolorous color portions in the group. In a manufacturing method for the color filter, the ink can flow over between the adjacent sub-pixels in a defined group and level through the channel, thus the uniformity of the color portions can be improved.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an antifungal protein gene and cDNA sequence thereof, which is obtained by mining the whole genome sequences of Monascus pilosus BCRC 38072 and the unigene database. The gene can encode an antifungal protein MAFP1. A purified protein obtained from M. pilosus culture broth having molecular weight of about 7 kDa is identified as MAFP1 by N-terminal protein sequencing and comparative analysis. The purified MAFP1 protein can inhibit the growth of pathogens such as Paecilomyces variotii BCRC 33174 and Helminthosporium panici BCRC 35004. In addition, it is found by PCR test that the gene of this antifungal protein exists in other Monascus species such as M. Barkeri, M. floridanus, M. lunisporas, M. pilosus, M. ruber and the like. It is also been proved that the mafp1 gene and cDNA thereof in four Monascus strains, M. pilosus (BCRC 38072, BCRC 38093 and BCRC 31502) and M. ruber BCRC 31533, have the same DNA sequences.
Abstract:
Systems for displaying images are provided. A representative system comprises a dual domain electrical compensated birefringence liquid crystal display (ECB-LCD) panel. A pair of uniaxial 1/4λ compensation films is separately disposed on both outer surfaces of the dual domain ECB-LCD panel. A pair of uniaxial 1/2λ compensation films is separately disposed on outer surfaces of the pair of uniaxial 1/4λ compensation films. A pair of polarizers is separately disposed on both outer surfaces of the pair of the uniaxial 1/2λ optical compensation films.
Abstract:
A calibration method for Optimum Power Control (OPC) of laser power in an optical storage device comprises selecting a plurality of first sections on an optical disc; applying a first laser write strategy to each of the first sections; reading a first feature value from each of the first sections to thereby obtain a plurality of first feature values; calculating a sub value according to the first feature values; and calibrating the laser write strategy according to the sub value.
Abstract:
A complex signal processing system for multiple fans is used to control the rotation of a first fan and a second fan. The speed signals of the first fan and the second fan are processed through an XOR operation to obtain a complex speed signal. In response to the complex speed signal, the speed and the operational status of the first fan and the second fan can be evaluated.
Abstract:
A liquid crystal display panel comprises a color filter substrate, a thin film transistor array substrate, and a liquid crystal layer sealed between the two substrates. The color filter substrate has a plurality of first spacers and a plurality of second spacers thereon. The thin film transistor array substrate has a plurality of recesses for containing the second spacers. The ratio of the number of the second spacers to the number of the first spacers is between about 10% and about 90%.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for a simulative hair design by using computer programming has at least one processing unit, at least one monitor, an image recording device and a permanent device. The at least one processing unit can help hair stylist to design a hairstyle and store customers' data so that the customer can know outcome of hairdo before the hair stylist cut, educate apprentices who study hair design, count storage of expendables for salons or barbershops. The at least one monitor can display image of hairstyle combined with the customer's head image. The image recording device can take image of the customer and stores into the at least one processing unit. The permanent device can receive argument of permanent from the at least one processing unit so that the customer' hair can have well permanent.
Abstract:
A fastener requiring less space for the performance of the locking or unlocking action without causing an interference with other surrounding component parts is disclosed to include a locating bar, a first hook member connected to one end of the locating bar, a slide slidably coupled to the locating bar and having a relatively lower portion and a relatively higher portion, a second hook member inserted through the locating bar and the slide in a first direction, and a transverse pin inserted through the second hook member in a second direction and supported on the slide to control locking/unlocking action of the fastener.
