Abstract:
A cable connector assembly includes a circuit board, a plurality of grounding elements and a plurality of cables. Rear ends of an upper surface and a lower surface of the circuit board are equipped with a plurality of contact pads and a plurality of grounding pads. The plurality of grounding elements are soldered to the plurality of the grounding pads. Two sides of each grounding element have two clamping portions. Each cable includes an inner conductor, an inner insulating layer, a shielding layer and an outer insulating layer arranged in an inside-to-outside direction. The inner conductors of the plurality of the cables are electrically connected with the plurality of the contact pads, the shielding layer of each cable is mounted in one grounding element. The shielding layer of each cable is clamped between the two clamping portions of the one grounding element.
Abstract:
A wearable reality device including a left earmuff, a right earmuff, a first connecting component, a display body, and a second connecting component is provided. The left earmuff is configured to be positioned outside the user's left ear when the user uses the wearable reality device. The right earmuff is configured to be positioned outside the user's right ear when the user uses the wearable reality device. The first connecting component connects the left earmuff and the right earmuff, and is configured to extend across a top of the user's head and be supported by the top of the user's head when the user uses the wearable reality device. The display body is configured to be positioned in front of the user's forehead and eyes when the user uses the wearable reality device. The second connecting component connects the display body and the first connecting component.
Abstract:
A multimedia program recording schedule manager for DVR systems is described. In a first embodiment, for example, a method implemented by one or more server computing devices, the method comprising: receiving input selecting a particular DVR system; receiving input selecting a particular multimedia program for the particular DVR system to record on a repeat basis; adding the particular multimedia program to a server-side instance of a repeat recording schedule for the particular DVR system; and synchronizing the server-side instance of the repeat recording schedule with another instance of a repeat recording schedule for the particular DVR system resulting in the addition of the particular multimedia program to the other instance of the repeat recording schedule. In one embodiment, the other instance of the repeat recording schedule for the particular DVR system is a data component of the particular DVR system.
Abstract:
A method for interpreting messages, user-defined alert conditions, voice commands and performing an action in response is described. A method for annotating media content is described. A method for presenting additional content associated with media content identified based on a fingerprint is described. A method for identifying that an advertisement portion of media content is being played based on a fingerprint derived from the media content is described. A method of one media device recording particular media content automatically in response to another media device recording the particular media content is described. A method of concurrently playing media content on multiple devices is described. A method of publishing information associated with recording of media content is described. A method of deriving fingerprints by media devices that meet an idleness criteria is described. A method of loading, modifying, and displaying a high definition frame from a frame buffer is described. A method of recording or playing media content identified based on fingerprints is described.
Abstract:
Apparatuses and systems for photon detection can include a first optical sensing structure structured to absorb light at a first optical wavelength; and a second optical sensing structure engaged with the first optical sensing structure to allow optical communication between the first and the second optical sensing structures. The second optical sensing structure can be structured to absorb light at a second optical wavelength longer than the first optical wavelength and to emit light at the first optical wavelength which is absorbed by the first optical sensing structure. Apparatuses and systems can include a bandgap grading region.
Abstract:
An improvement to the present ink cup technology is presented, resulting in reduced clean-up time, by measurement at least three times faster producing a significant reduction in labor cost. Exposure by employees to high-VOC solvents and emulsifiers is eliminated, and low-VOC solvents mixed with water can be used. This is a significant saving in environmental damage and disposal costs.
Abstract:
A power amplifier includes a LDMOS transistor having a source, a drain, a control gate and a shielding electrode positioned between the control gate and the drain, and means for adaptively biasing the drain and shielding electrode power information for a RF signal.
Abstract:
A putting trainer has a long strip mounted to the head along a length of the putter head. The long strip has a pair of ends, namely a close end toward the player and a far end away from a player. The putting trainer has a ball path having a pair of columns of sensors, namely a column of right sensors and a column of left sensors. The pair of columns of sensors detect the motion of the long strip over the pair of columns of sensors. An audio output from a speaker provides feedback to the player. A golf trainer also includes a golf putter having a handle, a shaft connected to the handle, a hosel connected to the shaft and a putter head connected to the hosel.
Abstract:
A support structure comprises a first portion for sliding attachment to a seat having a front, a back, and two sides, and a second portion connected to the first portion at a substantially right angle. The first portion has a hollow cross-sectional shape with an asymmetrical material distribution through the plane of the cross section, the material distribution placing more of the material comprising the first portion toward the sides of the vehicle seat. The support structure is adapted for attachment to the seat and is adapted to be activated to extend in a substantially vertical direction upwardly from the seat. The first portion has an arc shape along its length so that when the support structure is activated the second portion is supported by the first portion at a desirable angle for bracing against an impact force direction that is typical of vehicle rollover.
Abstract:
A press unit (20) for a manufactured wood press (60) is provided. The press unit includes a housing (80), a platen (90), and a drive assembly (76) disposed within the housing. The drive assembly is coupled to the platen to drive the platen in a non-linear motion.
