    Abstract: A sensor includes a body member, a volume change body, and a detection member. The body member has a flat plate-like shape, a first end in a first direction being supported, and a storage space opening at at least one of both end faces in a thickness direction. The volume change body, whose volume changes depending on an amount of a target, is supported by the body member so that at least a part of the volume change body is stored in the storage space. The detection member is in contact with a second end in the first direction of the body member, and detects stress caused by the change in the volume of the volume change body.

    Abstract: A lubricating oil composition for internal combustion engines, including a lubricant base oil and a liquid random copolymer of ethylene and an α-olefin, the liquid random copolymer being produced using a specific catalyst, wherein the lubricating oil composition has a kinematic viscosity at 100° C. of 12.5 mm2/s or more, but less than 26.1 mm2/s, and wherein the lubricant base oil consists of a mineral oil having a kinematic viscosity at 100° C. of 2 to 10 mm2/s, a viscosity index of 95 or more and a pour point of −10° C. or lower, and/or a synthetic oil having a kinematic viscosity at 100° C. of 1 to 10 mm2/s, a viscosity index of 120 or more and a pour point of −30° C. or lower.

    Abstract: The method for producing pentamethylene diisocyanate includes a reaction step, in which carbonyl chloride is allowed to react with pentamethylenediamine to produce a reaction mixture containing pentamethylene diisocyanate and a tar component containing a chlorine-containing component; a heating step, in which the reaction mixture is heated; and a purification step, in which the reaction mixture after the heating step is purified to separate the pentamethylene diisocyanate from the tar component, wherein in the heating step, the reaction mixture is heated without removing the tar component from the reaction mixture.

    Abstract: A resin composition, a shaped article, a fiber, a film and a sheet. The resin composition includes two or more kinds of polyolefin resins (A), and 0.05 to 10 mass % of an α-olefin (co)polymer (B) satisfying requirements (b-1) to (b-3): (b-1) A methyl group index is 40 to 60%. The methyl group index is a ratio of an integral of a peak observed in a range of 0.50 to 1.15 ppm to an integral of peaks observed in a range of 0.50 to 2.20 ppm in a 1H-NMR spectrum of a solution of the (co)polymer (B) in deuterated chloroform, positions of the peaks being calculated relative to a solvent peak at 7.24 ppm assigned to CHCl3 in deuterated chloroform as a reference. (b-2) A weight average molecular weight determined by GPC is 1,500 to 20,000. (b-3) No melting point is observed from −100 to 150° C. in DSC.
