Abstract: A molded body is molded into a prescribed three-dimensional shape. A protective film covers at least a portion of a surface of the molded body. A circuit film is integrally molded with the molded body. An electric circuit is installed in the circuit film and causes a physical change outside of a molded article or causes an electric signal to be generated in accordance with a physical change outside of the molded article. The protective film or the circuit film has a contact area disposed on the surface of a contact portion. The molded body includes a hot melt adhesive: which is disposed on the surface of the molded body which is opposite skin, with the contact area therebetween; and which defines a three-dimensional shape of the contact area within the prescribed shape. The hot melt adhesive covers at least a portion of the circuit film.

Abstract: An illumination display panel that forms part of a housing and has a display portion for illuminated display comprises a resin panel having a first molded portion made of an opaque resin at a portion excluding the display portion, and a second molded portion disposed on the back surface side of the first molded portion and made of a light-transmitting resin having a protrusion where the first molded portion is not present. The protrusion is fitted to the first molded portion. A light source mounting substrate is disposed on the back surface side of the resin panel. At least a light source of the light source mounting substrate is sealed by the second molded portion. An integrally molded product of the light source mounting substrate and the second molded portion is filled and solidified at a low pressure while compressing a cavity of a molding mold.

A capacitance detection unit electrically connected to the electrode detects a floating capacitance between the light emitting and receiving element and the heater film. A power source electrically connected to the electrode heats the heater film. A control board switches the connection with the electrode between the capacitance detection unit and the power source.

The decorative molded article is a decorative molded article capable of being illuminated by a light source on a back surface and configured so that a skin material having an OD value of 1 or more and 3.5 or less, a light-shielding layer having an arbitrary pattern, and a transparent molded body are laminated together in sequence, and so that a color difference ΔE between a light emitting unit and a non-light emitting unit of the skin material is 50 or more when the light source is turned on. The decorative molded article may further include a nonwoven fabric between the skin material and the light-shielding layer, or between the light-shielding layer and the molded body.

Abstract: A pressure sensor is disclosed. The pressure sensor includes a common electrode, sensitized electrodes, mountain-shaped pressure-sensitive layers, and thin-film transistors. The common electrode is formed as a layer. The sensitized electrodes are arranged in a matrix opposing the common electrode. The mountain-shaped pressure-sensitive layers are respectively formed over the sensitized electrodes on a side close to the common electrode. The thin-film transistors are disposed to correspond to the sensitized electrodes on sides of the sensitized electrodes opposite to the common electrode. A distance between the sensitized electrodes and an outer edge of a contact surface at which the common electrode and the mountain-shaped pressure-sensitive layers contact gradually becomes narrower when, due to pressing force applied to the common electrode toward the mountain-shaped pressure-sensitive layers and the sensitized electrodes, the contact surface expands outward from central portions of the mountain-shaped pressure-sensitive layers when viewed in plan.

Abstract: A display panel is attached to an appliance that includes first and second light sources, in which one of the first and second light sources is capable of being turned off when the other is turned on. The display panel basically includes a molded body, a front-side decorative layer, and a sheet-like member. The display panel is capable of individually illuminating a plurality of graphics, which is simultaneously molded and decorated, with light passing through a molded resin. In particular, a first graphic is illuminated in a first window by turning on the first light source, while a first back-side light-shielding region and a second front-side light-shielding region prevent a second graphic from being illuminated. The second graphic is illuminated in a second window by turning on the second light source, while a second back-side light-shielding region and a first front-side light-shielding region prevent the first graphic from being illuminated.
