    摘要: An optical disk device is provided to carry out a stable operation of a reflection-type photo sensor which detects a position of an optical pickup unit and to simplify an assembly process. The optical disk device includes: a chassis; an optical pickup unit which is disposed in the chassis and is moved in a radial direction of the mounted optical disk so as to carry out at least one of recording and reproducing of a signal on the information recording surface of the optical disk; a reflection-type photo sensor which is disposed in the chassis and includes a light-emitting unit and a light-receiving unit; a reflection unit which is disposed in the optical pickup unit and reflects light emitted from the light-emitting unit according to movement of the optical pickup unit so as to be incident on the light-receiving unit; and a black member which is disposed at a position facing the reflection-type photo sensor of the chassis, wherein the chassis is provided with a mold portion which is formed by mold forming, and wherein the black member is integrally formed with the mold portion.

    摘要: In a prior art slim-type high speed rotation optical disk apparatus, the side wall of the bottom chassis is bent at a bending point toward the side of the optical disk according to the configuration of the corner air window section of the chassis. According to the present invention, this bent side wall is formed so as to have a first vertical wall which is adjacent to the bending point and a second vertical wall which is adjacent to and lower than the first vertical wall. This constitutes an L-shaped vertical wall in the air window section of the bottom chassis, resulting in reduced noise.

    摘要: In an optical disk apparatus, an ejection lock mechanism includes three (3) arm portions; i.e., a lock arm for locking a tray, being engaged with a lock member provided on a housing, a drive arm, in contact with the lock arm, for moving the lock arm to a position of being engaged with or releasing from engagement with the lock member, a solenoid having a movable plunger to be engaged with the drive arm, and a reset arm for restoring the plunger of the solenoid, wherein the reset arm is made up with an arm portion and an elastic portion, which are formed in one (1) body (as a unit) from a plastic, and the arm portion has two (2) arm pieces, and wherein a first arm piece has a function for moving the drive arm to the position of releasing from engagement with the lock member, through rotation thereof while being in contact with the lock member, and a second arm piece has a function for restoring the drive arm to a plunger storing portion of the solenoid, with a biasing force of the elastic portion, and the elastic portion has the “U”-shaped portions, turning round to the reset arm through an upper portion of the drive arm, whereby rotation of the first arm piece in contact with the lock member makes a mutual distance between the “U”-shaped portions, so as to maintain stability on the spring biasing force thereof.

    摘要: An optical disc apparatus has the following arrangements. Specifically, the optical disc apparatus includes a lock pin and a lock arm. The lock pin is disposed on a side of an inner surface of a case of the apparatus, being tapered in a protruding direction thereof. The lock arm is disposed on a side of a tray of the apparatus. The lock arm, urged by a resilient member, includes a hook portion to be engaged with an inclined surface of the lock pin. When the tray has moved to a predetermined position within the case, the lock arm is engaged with the lock pin, so that the tray is held in position at the predetermined position. When an impact force equal to, or more than, a predetermined value is applied to the optical disc apparatus, the hook portion of the lock arm is displaced in the protruding direction of the lock pin along the inclined surface of the lock pin, thereby disengaged from the lock pin. Engagement of the tray is thereby released.

    摘要: A front surface of the opposite electrode of a liquid crystal display panel is formed in a curved shape. The relation between the reflecting surface of the pixel electrode and the curved surface of the opposite substrate is defined so that a leaving direction of the light that is reflected by the first face of the opposite substrate is different from a leaving direction of light that is emitted from the first face of the opposite substrate after having been reflected by the pixel electrodes through the liquid crystal layer. Thus, undesired light on the front surface of the opposite substrate is separated from light that is displayed. Consequently, an image free of dazzling and deterioration of contrast ratio due to undesired reflected light can be obtained with a high contrast ratio. In a display apparatus containing the reflection type liquid crystal display, an incident surface to a dichroic prism is an inclined surface including a curved surface, not a surface that is perpendicular to the optical axis. Thus, signal light that is reflected on each reflection type liquid crystal display panel and that is displayed can be separated from undesired light that is reflected on the surface of the dichroic prism. Thus, an image with a high quality, and a high contrast ratio can be displayed.
