    Abstract: Techniques for improving database searches are described herein. In an embodiment, a computer-implemented data processing method comprises receiving a request to store a digital data object in a non-graph data repository, the data object comprising one or more first properties, the data object conforming to a first schema of the non-graph data repository; in response to the initiating, concurrently: digitally storing the data object in the non-graph data repository; transforming the data object into one or more nodes and edges of a graph; storing the one or more nodes and edges of the graph in a graph data repository that is separate from the non-graph data repository; electronically receiving a search query that specifies a path-based search; in response to receiving the search query: transforming the search query into a graph search query; submitting the graph search query to the graph data repository; receiving a result set of nodes from the graph data repository; transforming the result set of nodes into a set of corresponding data objects in the non-graph data repository; providing the set of corresponding data objects as output in a computer display.

    Abstract: A system architecture can be used to facilitate communication among applications that are native and/or non-native to an application environment. The system architecture can include a first application environment executed on a client-side computing device. The first application environment can execute software applications that are native thereto. The first application environment can further execute software applications that are native thereto, but which software applications themselves comprise second application environments of types different from the first application environment, and which software applications can therefore execute additional software applications that are non-native to the first application environment.     Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to retrieve or analyze usage data collected from a device or a facility where the device, optionally with devices are located, and identify useful features for making a diagnosis of the device. The diagnosis can be made before a system failure to reduce down time and inefficient use of the device, or after the system failure to expedite and facilitate diagnosis and repair. In addition to the usage data, such as energy and resource consumption, the system can also obtain information relating to the facility and the device's external environment which can be used for normalizing the usage data. Further, based on the diagnosis, the system can make suitable recommendations for repair, replacement, maintenance and upgrade.
