Abstract:
There is provided a motor. The motor may include a rotor case including a driving magnet formed on an inner circumferential surface thereof and providing a driving force by interacting with a coil of a stator, a low-speed control magnet formed on an outer circumferential surface of the rotor case and generating a frequency allowing for low-speed rotation enabling label printing as the rotor case rotates at a low speed; and a sensing part sensing an analog signal generated from the low-speed control magnet.
Abstract:
A method of operating a nonvolatile memory device including a memory cell array having first and second main cells for storing external input data, first spare cells for storing data for error correction code (ECC) processing on the data stored in the first and second main cells and second spare cells for storing data for ECC processing on the data stored in the first and second main cells which involves reading the data stored in the first spare cells, reading the data stored in the second main cells and the data stored in the second spare cells, and performing the ECC processing on the data read from the second main cells using the data read from the first spare cells and the data read from the second spare cells.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a spindle motor assembly with an encoder. The spindle motor includes a circuit board, a spindle motor and an encoder. A connector is mounted on the upper surface of the circuit board. The spindle motor is provided on the circuit board. The spindle motor functions to rotate a disk placed thereon. The encoder is provided on the connector and senses a detection mark of the disk and thereby detects a rotating speed of the disk. As such, because the encoder is installed on the connector, the number of components is reduced, and the production cost can be thus reduced.
Abstract:
A package apparatus includes at least one memory chip, a voltage detection circuit configured to make a determination of whether a voltage supplied to the memory chip is a specific voltage or higher, and a controller configured to control an operation of the memory chip based on a result of the determination.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a rotating shaft for an ultra slim spindle motor which reduces a frictional area between the rotating shaft and a bearing, thus being capable of reducing consumption current consumed during the rotation of the rotating shaft. The ultra slim spindle motor includes a rotating shaft for axially supporting a rotor casing and a bearing for rotatably supporting the rotating shaft. The rotating shaft includes a coupling part which is press-fitted into the rotor casing, upper and lower contact parts which are supported, respectively, by an upper portion and a lower portion of the bearing, and a non-contact part which is provided between the upper and lower contact parts in such a way that the non-contact part is not in contact with the bearing.
Abstract:
Alpha-amylases from Bacillus subtilis (AmyE), variants thereof, nucleic acids encoding the same, and host cells comprising the nucleic acids are provided. Methods of using AmyE or variants thereof are disclosed, including liquefaction and/or saccharification of starch. Such methods may yield sugars useful for ethanol production or high fructose corn syrup production. In some cases, the amylases can be used at low pH, in the absence of calcium, and/or in the absence of a glucoamylase.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a glass frit and a sealing method for an electric element using the same, and more particularly, to a glass frit which provides a good sealing effect to moisture and gas and is processable at low temperatures, and a sealing method for an electric element using the same.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a spindle motor. The spindle motor 100 includes a rotor casing 142 for rotating a recording medium, a rotary shaft 141 securely mounted to the rotor casing 142, a bearing 115 for rotatably supporting the rotary shaft 141, a bearing holder 113 for securely supporting the bearing, with a locking part 114 protruding around the upper end of the outer circumferential surface of the bearing holder 113, and a hooking part 150 provided in the rotor casing 142 to engage with the locking part 114 of the bearing holder 113, thus preventing the rotor casing 142 from being removed from the bearing holder 113. The hooking part 150 has a hook part 153 having a hook-shaped section. The hook part 153 has an angle of inclination of 10° relative to a horizontal surface.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a spindle motor. The spindle motor includes a frame provided with a tubular holder mounted to the center of the frame such that the holder is projected upwards, with a core mounted on the outer circumferential surface of the holder; a bearing fitted into the tubular holder, the bearing being divided into upper and lower parts, with an outside groove formed on the inner surface of the bearing along an interface between the upper and lower parts of the bearing; a shaft rotatably inserted into the bearing, with an inside groove formed on the outer surface of the shaft at a location corresponding to the outside groove of the bearing; a rotor mounted to the upper end of the shaft and having a shape of an inverted open cap, with a magnet provided on the inner surface of a skirt of the rotor such that the magnet faces the core with a gap defined between them; a thrust plate closing the lower end of the frame, with the bearing fitted into the lower end of the frame; and an annular stopper placed in a space defined both by the inside groove and by the outside groove and preventing axial movement of the shaft.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for chatting messages by topic based on subscription channel reference in a server. The method may include: receiving a message transmission request from a first user terminal corresponding to a first user to a second user terminal corresponding to a second user; extracting a subscription channel to be referred to by parsing the received message; reading a corresponding client handler with reference to a subscription channel stored in a subscription channel storage; and transmitting a message to the first and second user terminals through the read client handler.
