Abstract: Energy consumption data of a building and temperature data outside the building collected over a period of time are correlated and segmented into a plurality of segments including at least a heating consumption segment, a cooling segment, and temperature-insensitive segment. An energy efficiency coefficient for heating from the heating consumption segment, an energy efficiency coefficient for cooling from the cooling consumption segment, an energy efficiency coefficient for other energy consuming activities from the temperature insensitive segment are determined, and scaled. The energy efficiency coefficient for heating, the energy efficiency coefficient for cooling and the energy efficiency coefficient for other energy consuming activities are used to assess energy efficiency among one or more buildings, forecast future consumption of energy in the building based on forecasted temperature and simulate impact of hypothetical temperature and hypothetical energy efficiency on energy consumption in the building.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel genomic RNA of Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) and an infectious JEV cDNA therefrom. Particularly, the present invention relates to a full-length genomic RNA of JEV represented by SEQ. ID. No 15 and an infectious JEV cDNA therefrom. JEV genomic RNA and infectious JEV cDNA of the present invention can be used not only for the identification of the JEV genes, but also for the molecular biological studies including JEV replication, transcription, and translation. Moreover, they can also be applied to the development of the therapeutic agents, vaccines, diagnostic reagents, and diagnostic devices for Japanese encephalitis, and can be used as an expression vector for the various foreign genes.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for allowing a user to dynamically enjoy a video. A difference between image data is computed at every preset unit of time and a vibration corresponding to the computed difference is generated so that the user can sense a motion change of an object within the video. Upon video reproduction, scenes are displayed by applying the lighting effect of a strobe light or the like between the scenes to be reproduced. Upon video reproduction, more enjoyment and various haptic effects can be provided to the user.

Abstract: A semiconductor memory device in which a mode of a memory bank may be independently selected and a method of controlling the semiconductor memory device may be provided. The semiconductor memory device with a plurality of banks may include a plurality of bank groups that each may have at least one bank from among the plurality of banks, and a memory controller that may control a read/write operation to be performed on a bank belonging to a bank group from among the plurality of bank groups, in response to a control signal, where different modes or the same mode may be applied to the bank groups. Accordingly, different modes or the same mode may be applied to the banks so that the read/write operation may be performed on a bank having a mode that is advantageous to the type of data, thereby minimizing consumption of power and a time delay.

Abstract: Provided are a cyber shopping mall management apparatus, and a system and method for managing a cyber shopping mall using the apparatus that can reduce a return rate of a purchased wear item. The cyber shopping mall management method includes adjusting a size of an image of a wear item to be purchased to fit a size of an image of an object to wear the wear item, synthesizing the adjusted wear item image onto the object image, and transmitting the synthesized image to a buyer. Thus, the cyber shopping mall management system and method enable a buyer to indirectly examine whether a wear item to be purchased can fit an object through an image of the object wearing the desired wear item, thus reducing a return rate of purchased wear items.
