    摘要: Provided is a transmitting device which improves a data rate while maintaining channel estimation accuracy, or improves channel estimation accuracy while maintaining a data rate, in a MIMO-OFDM system. In the transmitting device, a transmitting antenna information adding section (104) adds transmitting antenna information to a pilot signal by performing different phase rotation to the separate pilot signal by transmitting antenna by having a common pilot signal as a reference phase. A pilot arranging section (107) is previously provided with, as a conversion table, a corresponding relationship between combination information of the transmitting antenna and a subcarrier to be used for transmission of the pilot signal and control information. The pilot arranging section (107) allocates the pilot signal outputted from the transmitting antenna information adding section (104) to the subcarrier to have the combination information in accordance with the control information.

According to this method, a receiving apparatus (100) calculates, based on a channel matrix, a capacity (C) and a stream ratio (r) that is a ratio of the reception qualities of streams, and then transmits, as feedback information, the calculated capacity (C) and stream ratio (r) to a transmitting apparatus. In the transmitting apparatus (200), the number of transmittable streams, the modulation scheme and the fed-back capacity (C) are used to calculate the encoding ratio (R) and sequence length (S) of spatial multiplexed symbols. Then, the modulation scheme (M1-Mn) of each stream is decided based on the fed-back stream ratio (r) and the sequence length (S) of spatial multiplexed symbols.

    摘要: The circuit scale of a wireless communication apparatus at the data receiving end in a wireless communication performing an adaptive control for each of subcarriers or subchannels can be reduced. In the present apparatus, frame forming parts (103-1 to 103-m) each multiplex a pilot, control information and transport data to form a frame for a respective one of subchannels (1 to m). A subcarrier assigning part (104) assigns subcarriers designated from an adaptive control part (114) to the respective frames formed by the frame forming parts (103-1 to 103-m). A timing control part (105) establishes mutually different frame timing offsets to the respective frames received from the subcarrier assigning part (104).

    摘要: An A/D converter converts the signal received by an array antenna and frequency-converted to a digital signal by a frequency converter. A correlation detector uses the chip rate as a cycle frequency and calculates a cyclic correlation matrix of spread spectrum signals stored in data storage. A cycle frequency detector detects the cycle frequency of an interference signal output from A/D converter. A correlation detector uses the detection result of the cycle frequency detector as a cycle frequency and calculates a cyclic correlation matrix of the signal, which becomes an interference signal, using the signal output from A/D converter. A direction of arrival is estimated, using the cyclic correlation matrices calculated by correlation detector and the correlation detector calculates the respective eigenvalues and eigenvectors and estimates the directions of arrival of a spread spectrum signal and a signal, which becomes an interference signal.

    摘要: A radio-wave arrival-direction apparatus calculates a correlation matrix of received signals by correlation calculation between antenna elements, and calculates a noise spatial eigenmatrix, of which each row or column is an eigenvector belonging to a noise eigen-space, by eigenvalue factorization of the correlation matrix. The apparatus also factorizes a matrix including a product of the noise spatial eigenmatrix and a conjugated and transposed matrix of it to an upper or lower triangular matrix, using cholesky factorization. The apparatus calculates an angle evaluation value in a predetermined angle range of an arrival-angle evaluation function using the derived upper or lower triangular matrix, and determines an arrival angle based on the calculation result. A calculation amount in a variable angle range can be thus reduced without causing accuracy degradation of arrival direction, in an algorism requiring an angle sweep for arrival angle estimation of MUSIC method or the like.
