An ostomy output diversion device is used to cover and seal closely around a patient's stoma, to divert stoma effluent output through the device, through a drain tube and into a container or reservoir, temporarily eliminating the need of an adhesive-based ostomy pouching system. The ostomy output diversion device is placed over the person's stoma, with the base ring surrounding the peristomal skin, the adjustable inner tube is retracted until the base ring is centered over the stoma, the body support strap is then placed over the device to secure it to the patient's body, the inner tube with stoma-sized adapter is then extended over the stoma, the patient applies the desired pressure against the skin, then secures the stoma-sized adapter in place with the pressure adjustment lock. The device may also include an ostomy pouch mounting ring for attachment to an ostomy pouch, and a disposable receptacle.

The controller providing, at least in part, a boundary setting module or methodology and/or an image correction module or methodology through a user interface for the underwater projection system. A user interface is provided to enable user control and input and adjustment of the image controller from an observation point outside of the media of the underwater projection system, while the adjustments are made in-situ. An optional automated edge or edge and surface detection system is also contemplated to assist in boundary detection within the water feature for the underwater image projection system.

A method and an apparatus for dispensing a pH balancing solution are provided. The apparatus includes a system having a chlorine generator with a power supply coupled to the chlorine generator, the chlorine generator servicing a body of water and chlorinating it. A pH monitoring and balancing unit is provided. The pH monitoring and balancing unit monitors and measures when power is supplied from the power supply to the chlorine generator to produce chlorine and thereby calculates an operational time for the chlorine generator. A pH monitoring and balancing unit controller is also provided, the pH monitoring and balancing unit controller computing an estimated pH level based on the production of the chlorine generator from the operational time measured and then determining if the estimated pH is outside of a desired range, and, if it is outside of the desired range, metering a discrete amount of pH balancing solution based on this estimated pH level to return the pH of the body of water to within the desired range.
