Abstract: The present technology allows coordination of channels of private wireless networks utilizing shared licensed and unlicensed spectrum. Wireless network operators in an enterprise location register to participate in a consortium and register licensed, shared, and unlicensed spectrum resources to be shared with other members of the consortium. The wireless network operators request an allocation of spectrum resources from the consortium. The consortium generates a radio resource management (“RRM”) plan for shared use of the licensed, shared, and unlicensed spectrum resources. The consortium combines the allocated licensed, shared, and unlicensed spectrum from each of the wireless network operators to meet the target RRM plan. The consortium monitors spectrum utilization to dynamically update the RRM. The consortium monitors spectrum utilization in real time to determine how closely the RRM plan matches the resources allocated to each wireless network operator.

Abstract: Improved mesh performance using Overlapping Basic Service Set (OBSS) coloring and transmission scheduling may be provided. A controller may determine that a plurality of Access Points (APs) in a mesh network each have a Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) that is in a predetermined range. Next, the controller may assign, in response to determining that the plurality of APs each have the RSSI that is in the predetermined range, OBSS colors to links between the plurality of APs to limit packet collision in the mesh network between the plurality of APs. The controller may then create a transmission schedule for transmissions between the plurality of APs in the mesh network based on the assigned OBSS colors.

Then, based on information derived from the beacon message, an optimum radio in a network may be determined to monitor the tag. The optimum radio may be associated with an Access Point (AP) comprising one of a plurality of APs in the network. The optimum radio associated with the AP in the network may then be provisioned to monitor the tag.

The AP can also receive client location data from the second AP and associated with a first client. Abstract: In one embodiment, a device assigns a first radio of an access point in a wireless network to a client serving role and a second radio of the access point to a channel monitoring role. The device associates a wireless client with the first radio. The device determines that the wireless client is a low bandwidth client. The device switches the wireless client from the first radio to the second radio of the access point assigned to the channel monitoring role.

Abstract: Systems and methods herein can synchronize 802.11ax Uplink (UL) and Downlink (DL) Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) schedules between adjacent APs that have overlapping BSSs, which may not be solved by BSS coloring. The method includes several stages. First, the APs detect RF interference from APs with overlapping BSSs. Then, the APs conduct time synchronization between these APs. The various APs can then elect a master scheduler. The master scheduler creates and implements a master schedule between these APs to coordinate use of the radio resource.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for dynamically adjusting cell coverage sensitivity to address asymmetry of wireless cells that affect upstream and downstream traffic mismatch. In one aspect, a method includes estimating, at a network controller, one or more packet demodulation thresholds for an access point; sending, by the network controller, the one or more packet demodulation thresholds to the access point; receiving, from the access point, collected statistic, the collected statistics being link performance characteristics between the access point and one or more endpoints associated with the access point measured by one or more sensors associated with the access point; updating, at the network controller, the one or more packet demodulation thresholds based on the collected statistics to yield an updated packet demodulation threshold; and configuring, by the network controller, the access point with the updated demodulation threshold.

Abstract: Wireless access point locations can be determined by processing a combination of wired and wireless telemetry. Wireless telemetry can be combined with backend network management information to isolate a set of access points within a radio frequency neighborhood cluster. Wired telemetry, including time domain reflectometer operations performed by a local switch, can be used to refine location estimates of the isolated set of access points. Trilateration can be used to pinpoint the access point locations and the pinpointed locations can be overlaid on a floor plan map.

In one aspect, a method includes estimating by a controller, first signal information of a signal transmitted by an access point and received at a client device, the first signal information being from the perspective of the access point, the client device operating at a boundary of an area serviced by the access point; determining, by the controller, second signal information for the signal, the second signal information being from the perspective of the client device; and performing, by the controller, roaming management of the client device based on the first signal information and the second signal information.
