Abstract:
A hard water-repellent structure and a method for fabricating the same are provided. The method adopts an atmospheric pressure plasma deposition (APPD) technique to form a hard coating having a rough surface on a substrate, and form a water-repellent coating on the rough surface. Because the hard water-repellent structure includes the hard coating and the water-repellent coating, hardness, abrasion-resistance, transparency and hydrophobicity of the hard water-repellent structure are improved. The hard water-repellent structure protects the substrate from friction. Moreover, because the disclosure adopts the APPD technique to form the hard water-repellent structure, the cost of production is reduced dramatically. Thus, the disclosure can solve drawbacks of prior art.

An LED fixture include a mask structure and an LED module. The mask structure includes a cooling fin set of buckling type, an upper socket and a lower socket. The cooling fin set is constituted by a plurality of cooling fins that are encircled and inter-buckled to each other. An interior enclosed by the cooling fin set is formed into an accommodating space and a fitting hole connecting the accommodating space. The upper socket is assembled to one side of the fitting hole, while the lower socket is assembled to another side of the fitting hole. Meanwhile, the upper socket and the lower socket are respectively fastened by the cooling fin set through a clipping-and-abutting manner. The LED module is arranged by accommodating in the accommodating space and is connected to the cooling fin set as well. Accordingly, the entirely cooling effectiveness is promoted and the using lifetime is prolonged.

A touch screen includes a substrate, a plurality of conductive areas and a controller. The conductive areas are disposed on the substrate. The controller is electrically connected to the conductive areas. When one of the conductive areas is touched, the controller determines a coordinate where the touched conductive area is located on the substrate according to the capacitance change of the touched conductive area.
Abstract:
A switched capacitor digital-to-analog converter (SC-DAC) is provided. The SC-DAC of the present invention can eliminate an influence of a reference voltage source caused by a signal dependent loading at each clock cycle, so as to completely solve a harmonic distortion of an analog output signal converted by a conventional SC-DAC. In addition, when the SC-DAC of the present invention has a plurality of converting channels, since the reference voltage source is not influenced by the effect of signal dependent loading of any converting channel, so that each converting channel can be regarded to have a separate state, and thus the purpose of channel separation can be achieved.

A wide area atmospheric pressure plasma jet apparatus including a transmission mechanism, a plasma housing and two plasma-generating devices is provided. The transmission mechanism includes a rotation output end that has a center axis. The plasma housing has an opening. The plasma housing further has a air-attracting hole near the rotation output end and extended from an outer wall of the plasma housing to the interior of the plasma housing, so that the heat of the plasma housing can be dissipated due to the generated gas circulation. The plasma-generating devices are disposed within the plasma housing and connected with the rotation output end. Each of the plasma-generating devices has a plasma nozzle located at the opening and tilts from the center axis. When the rotation output end drives the plasma-generating devices to rotate, two plasma beams are obliquely ejected from the plasma nozzle and the plasma processing area is increased.

A multi-level memory cell having a bottom electrode, a first dielectric layer, a plurality of memory material layers, a plurality of second dielectric layers, and an upper electrode is provided. The bottom electrode is disposed in a substrate. The first dielectric layer is disposed on the substrate and has an opening exposing the bottom electrode. The memory material layers are stacked on a sidewall of the first dielectric layer exposed by the opening and are electrically connected to the bottom electrode. The second dielectric layers are respectively disposed between every adjacent two memory material layers and are located on the sidewall of the first dielectric layer. The upper electrode is disposed on the memory material layers. A manufacturing method of the multi-level memory cell is further provided. A multi-bit data can be stored in a single memory cell, and both the process complexity and the cost are reduced.

A method for fabricating liquid crystal (LC) alignment includes the steps of processing an alignment film having a plurality of liquid crystal molecules with a single or plurality of plasma generating devices, such that the liquid crystal molecules are aligned at a high pretilt angle. Compared with the prior art, the present invention is suitable for modifying the alignment film surface adjustablely in directions and angles, and can attain the effect of alignment stability with a high pretilt angle in a single process, thus overcoming the drawbacks of the prior art.

The present invention discloses a method for preventing erroneous take-over in a redundant server system, and the method is used for a server system having a primary server for continuously producing heartbeat packets and sending the heartbeat packets to a redundant server of the server system. If the redundant server has not received any heartbeat packet, a redundant external transmission unit of the redundant server will send a detecting signal to the primary server. If the redundant external transmission unit has not received an acknowledged signal from the primary server, the redundant server will take over the primary server to continue providing network services.

A RAID capacity expansion interruption recovery handling method and system is proposed, which is designed for use with a RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) unit for providing a capacity-expansion interruption recovery function that allows the RAID unit to recover after an event of an unexpected interruption to a capacity-expansion procedure that builds data from an original disk set to a newly-added disk. The proposed method and system is characterized by the capability of continuously recording the addresses of blocks that have been rebuilt in the original disk set and the newly-added disk to a permanent storage medium, such that in the event of any unexpected interruption, the address of the last block that has been rebuilt can be stored as a checkpoint. After the RAID unit is reset, the checkpoint can then be used as a recovery point for the uncompleted capacity expansion procedure without having to restart all over again from the beginning point. This feature allows the recovery of capacity expansion after unexpected interruption to be carried out more efficiently with enhanced system performance.

A jet plasma gun and a plasma device using the same are provided. The jet plasma gun is for jetting plasma to process a surface of a substrate. The jet plasma gun includes a plasma producer, a plasma nozzle and a barrier. The plasma producer is for providing plasma. The plasma nozzle disposed between the substrate and plasma producer has a first opening and a second opening. The first opening faces plasma producer, and the second opening faces the substrate. The barrier being an insulator is disposed between the plasma nozzle and the substrate and has a through hole corresponding to the second opening. The plasma passes through the plasma nozzle and the through hole to reach the substrate.
