    摘要： A keyboard, video and mouse (KVM) switch comprises an enclosure; a switching circuit contained within the enclosure; a set of connector ports disposed on the enclosure and electrically coupled to the switching circuit; a set of plugs electrically coupled to the switching circuit, the set of plugs comprising: a video plug disposed on the enclosure for directly coupling to a video port of a first computer system; and at least one peripheral plug attached to the enclosure for coupling to at least one peripheral port of the first computer system; and a cable connector electrically coupled to the switching circuit, for coupling to a second computer system via a detachable cable; wherein the switching circuit switches to operatively couple each connector port to the set of plugs and the cable connector.

A useful life indication of a lubricating fluid in the engine is generated based upon a first relationship between the quantity of use of an engine and the time of use of the engine when an operating characteristic is at or below a predetermined amount, such as the average speed of a vehicle containing the engine. The useful life indication of the lubricating fluid in the engine is generated based upon a second relationship between the quantity of use of an engine and the time of use of the engine when the operating characteristic is above the predetermined amount.

    摘要： A safety inlet apparatus for a paper feed opening of a shredder, with cutting cylinders including an upper casing having a feed end with a safety dam with upper and lower indices. An angled plate means set apart from the upper casing forms the paper feed opening. A safety plate with a distal index end is provided, which is formed to traverse the feed opening from the angled plate to the safety dam. Also included is a pivot, and a power control switch. The pivot is configured to facilitate traversal of the safety plate distal index from the angled plate to the safety dam. The power limit switch is on the upper casing, apart from the pivot member. The traversal of the safety plate distal index end to the safety dam lower index causes the power control switch to stop comminution. A buckle bit plate provides open and closed detents.

    摘要： Apparatus and method for a power-saving shredder, including motorized shredder blades; a shredder controller coupled to the motor controller; a timer coupled to the motor controller, and a mechanically-actuated switch (GREEN SWITCH) couples to the shredder controller. The GREEN SWITCH causes the shredder controller, the motor controller, the motorized shredder blades, and the timer to be activated. The Normally Off switch, when deactuated, causes motorized shredder blades to deactivate. A method of operating a paper shredder includes operating a mechanical actuation switch ON; applying power to paper shredder electrical and electronic elements by operating the mechanical actuation switch; setting a timer for a predetermined active period; operating motorized paper shredder blades by operating the mechanical actuation switch ON; operating the mechanical actuation switch OFF; counting by the timer the predetermined active period; and if the predetermined active period has expired, removing power from the paper shredder electrical and electronic elements.
