摘要: A method for determining a combustion gas composition of a combustion gas for an internal combustion engine includes operating the engine, and establishing an operating point of the internal combustion engine during operation. The method also includes detecting a nitrogen oxide emission of the internal combustion engine at the operating point. The method further includes detecting an exhaust gas temperature of the internal combustion engine at the operating point, and detecting a combustion air ratio of the internal combustion engine at the operating point. The combustion gas composition of the combustion gas is determined based on the operating point, the detected nitrogen oxide emission, the detected exhaust gas temperature and the detected combustion air ratio.

摘要: A physical quantity sensor-fixing structure includes a holder holding a physical quantity sensor including a detection unit to detect a physical quantity and a plurality of lead wires connected to the detection unit. The holder fixes the physical quantity sensor to a plurality of conductive support members to be respectively connected to the plurality of lead wires. The holder includes a main body member including a housing portion to house at least a portion of the physical quantity sensor, and a lid member covering at least a portion of the housing portion.

摘要: A heating system includes at least one electric heater disposed within a fluid flow system and a control device that is configured to determine a temperature of the at least one electric heater based on a model, at least one fluid flow system input, and at least one heater input. The at least one heater input includes at least one physical characteristic of the heating system, the at least one physical characteristic includes at least one of a resistance wire diameter, a heater insulation thickness, a heater sheath thickness, a conductivity, a specific heat and density of the material of the heater, an emissivity of the heater and the fluid flow pathway, and combinations thereof. The control device is configured to provide power to the at least one electric heater based on the temperature of the at least one electric heater.

摘要: The present disclosure describes methods and systems for determining a flow of a combustible portion of vent gas delivered to an engine. The flow rate measurement may be performed by using the engine response to a relatively short (e.g. 1 to 5 s) reduction of the vent gas flow. A cross-correlation between RPM data of the engine and a reference signal corresponding to a state of a valve configured to reduce the vent gas flow is determined, and a flow rate of the combustible portion of the vent gas delivered to the engine is determined from the maximum value of the cross-correlation.

摘要: A method for predicting soot build-up in an engine system when operating according to an intended drive cycle. The engine system includes an internal combustion engine and an exhaust gas aftertreatment system provided with a particulate filter. The method includes providing data representing engine operational conditions for the internal combustion engine during the intended drive cycle, wherein the data comprises values for at least engine speed and engine torque distributed over a time period representing the intended drive cycle; determining a working temperature for the exhaust gas aftertreatment system during the intended drive cycle based on the data representing the engine operational conditions; providing a reference relation between working temperature of the exhaust gas aftertreatment system and a corresponding estimated magnitude of a build-up of soot in the exhaust gas aftertreatment system; and predicting soot build-up in the engine system when operating according to the intended drive cycle by comparing the determined working temperature for the exhaust gas aftertreatment system with the reference relation.
