Abstract:
The invention relates to bleach catalysts containing a manganese compound and oxalic acid, or the salt or derivatives thereof. The presence of the oxalic acid reinforces the action of the manganese compound as a bleach catalyst.
Abstract:
What are claimed are synergistically active bleach activator mixtures consisting of a) a hydroxybenzoic acid derivative of the formula 1 in which R is C8-C11-alkyl, and b) tetraacetylethylenediamine and/or 1,5-diacetyl-2,4-dioxo-1,3,5-hexahydrotriazine.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an improved bleach activator and bleach activator compositions in the form of granules for use in washing, cleaning and disinfectant compositions. More specifically, the invention relates to granular bleach-activating mixtures that consist substantially of a) a hydroxybenzoic acid derivative of formula (I) in which R is C8-C11-alkyl and b) tetraacetyl ethylene diamine and/or 1,5-diacetyl-2,4-dioxo-1,3,5-hexahydrotriazine, the granules being free of binding agents.
Abstract:
Mixtures of bleaching agentsWhat are claimed are synergistically active bleach mixtures consisting ofa) a compound of the formula (1) in which n is 3, 4 or 5, andb) tetraacetylethylenediamine and/or 1,5-diacetyl-2,4-dioxo-1,3,5-hexa-hydrotriazine.
Abstract:
Mixtures of ammonionitrile bleach activators and amino acids Mixtures of ammonionitrile bleach activators and amino acids which contain at least two nitrogen atoms are claimed, as is their use in bleaches and in washing and cleaning compositions. The presence of the amino acid lowers the color- and fiber-damaging action of the ammonionitriles.
Abstract:
The use of compounds of the formula (1) M(L)nXm (1) in which M is a metal atom from the group consisting of Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Mo and W, L is a ligand from the group consisting of the cyclic carboxamides (lactams), X is chloride, bromide, nitrate, perchlorate, citrate, hexafluorophosphate or anions of organic acids having C1-C22 carbon atoms and n is a number from 2 to 4 and m is a number from 0 to 4, as catalysts for peroxygen compounds, in particular in detergents, bleaches and cleaning agents, is claimed.
Abstract:
Process for the preparation of acyloxybenzenesulfonates by reaction of phenolsulfonate with a water content of less than 0.5% by weight and alkanecarbonyl halide in a hydrocarbon as solvent and in the presence of a catalyst in the form of a basic nitrogen-containing compound.
Abstract:
Detergents and cleaners comprising an active ingredient combination of a soil-release polymer and alkanesulfonate and/or &agr;-olefinsulfonate.
Abstract:
Peptides having essentially the sequence of bovine pancreatic trypsin inhibitor (aprotinin) wherein one or more of the amino acids at positions 15, 16, 17, 18, 34, 39 and 52 are replaced by any naturally occurring amino acid produced by recombinant DNA technology, process, expression vector and recominant host therefor and pharmaceutical use thereof. Such peptides being useful as therapeutic agents in diseases connected with the presence of excessive amounts of proteinases.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of storage-stable granules essentially comprising a bleaching activator and an inorganic binder material, which comprises the process steps: a) mixing of a dry bleaching activator with a dry inorganic binder material, b) pressing of this mixture to give relatively large agglomerates and c) comminution of these agglomerates to the desired particle size. The invention furthermore relates to the use of the granules prepared by the processes in detergents, cleaning compositions, bleaching compositions and disinfectants.
