The present invention provides a method and a base station for managing capacity of a wireless communication network, which relates to the field of wireless communications and is capable of saving energy while adjusting capacity of a wireless communication network of a base station. The present invention includes: checking total traffic of all overlay networks belonging to the base station; if the checked total traffic keeps being smaller than a preset load threshold, searching for and determining a first overlay network; maintaining normal work of a power amplifier of at least one antenna in each group of antennas in the first overlay network and turning off power amplifiers of one or more other antennas; and connecting the one or more other antennas to the power amplifiers maintaining normal work in the groups in which the one or more other antennas are located.
Abstract:
A communication method includes receiving, by a terminal device comprising a processor, indication information from a master node. The indication information is used to indicate that a key used for signaling transmission performed between the terminal device and a first secondary node by using a second signaling radio bearer (SRB) is a first key. The first key is used for signaling transmission performed between the terminal device and the master node by using a first SRB. The first secondary node and the master node share one central unit. The communication method also includes determining, by the terminal device, based on the indication information, that the first key is used for signaling transmission performed between the terminal device and the first secondary node by using the second SRB.
Abstract:
This application provides a random access report recording method and an apparatus, including: A terminal device initiates a random access process to a cell managed by a secondary base station, to obtain a first secondary base station random access report; and the terminal device records the first secondary base station random access report when a quantity of historical secondary base station random access reports recorded by the terminal device is less than a first threshold.
Abstract:
A source base station receives a first data packet from a core network device; a target base station receives a second data packet from the core network device, where the second data packet is a duplicate of the first data packet, and the first data packet and the second data packet each include a first index; the source base station sends first indication information to the target base station, where the first indication information indicates a mapping relationship between the first index and a second index; the source base station sends a third data packet to a user equipment UE in response to the first data packet; the target base station sends a fourth data packet to the UE in response to the second data packet, where the third data packet and the fourth data packet each include the second index.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to communication methods and apparatus. On one example method, a terminal device obtains measurement results of N cells, where the N cells include M non-public network cells, where N is an integer greater than or equal to 1, and where M is an integer greater than or equal to 0. The terminal device determines, based on the measurement results of the N cells and measurement result offset values corresponding to H first cells in the N cells, a target cell on which the terminal device is to camp, where H is an integer greater than or equal to 1, and where H≤N.
