Abstract: A method and device for accessing and obtaining user equipment (UE) context and UE identity are provided. The method for access includes: when a UE accesses a System Architecture Evolution (SAE) network, judging, by a network node, whether a Globally Unique Mobility Management Entity Identifier (GUMMEI) carried by the UE or a Mobility Management Entity Group Identity (MMEGI) in the GUMMEI is allocated or mapped by the SAE network; if the GUMMEI or MMEGI is allocated by the SAE network, selecting, by the network node, a Mobility Management Entity (MME) according to the GUMMEIA network device includes an identity attribute obtaining module and a network resource node allocation module. Therefore, the access of the UE is achieved.

Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a system for implementing alarm event handling. The method includes: acquiring, by a first NodeB eNB, alarm event EM information reported by a user terminal UE; sending, by the first eNB, an EM notification that includes the EM information to at least one eNB that needs to be notified of the EM information, so that the at least one eNB sends the EM notification to a UE of the at least one eNB; and sending, by the first eNB, the EM notification that includes the EM information to a UE of the first eNB. By using the method, the apparatus, and the system according to the embodiments of the present invention, a signaling interaction process for alarm event handling in an emergency case is shortened, thereby greatly shortening a communications delay of a cellular network communications system and greatly reducing system load.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a data processing apparatus and method that relate to the field of communications network technologies and are used to solve a problem of how to reduce power consumption of a UE. In embodiments of the present invention, an acquiring module acquires a first maximum downlink delay tolerance (MDDT) sent by a core network entity, and provides the first MDDT to a determining module, where the first MDDT indicates a maximum delay tolerance value corresponding to processing, by the apparatus, downlink data of all services on the apparatus; the determining module determines time information of a first MDDT timer by using the first MDDT; and a changing module changes a UE status according to the time information of the first MDDT timer determined by the determining module or changes a UE status according to time information of a first IST.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a data transmission method, a mobility management entity, and a mobile terminal. The method includes: receiving, by a mobility management entity, a small data transmission parameter that is sent by a home subscriber server HSS or a user equipment, where the small data transmission parameter includes an indication of whether the user equipment supports small data transmission; determining, by the mobility management entity, a small data transmission policy according to the small data transmission parameter; sending, by the mobility management entity, the determined small data transmission policy to the user equipment; and performing, by the mobility management entity, the small data transmission with the user equipment according to the small data transmission policy. The present invention proposes a relatively complete small data transmission solution, thereby implementing effective transmission of small data.

Media access control MAC payloads corresponding to a plurality of receiving devices are encapsulated in one MAC packet data unit (PDU), where the MAC PDU includes a header, the MAC payloads and identification information of each receiving device in the plurality of receiving devices; and the header includes a plurality of subheaders, the plurality of subheaders is subheaders respectively corresponding to a MAC payload corresponding to each receiving device, the MAC payload corresponding to each receiving device includes a MAC control element (CE) and/or a MAC service data unit (SDU), and the identification information is used for identifying each receiving device. The MAC PDU is sent. In the foregoing solutions, transmission of a MAC PDU during multi-user cooperated communication is implemented.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method. In a process of splitting and sending a data packet, after dividing a data packet to be sent to a destination node into multiple sub data packets, a front end node performs inter-packet combination encoding on the sub data packets in a combination encoding mode, and sends obtained encoded sub data packet groups to the destination node. Even if a channel state of a transmission path suddenly deteriorates, because the destination node does not need to wait to receive all encoded sub data packet groups provided that an original data packet can be parsed out by combining content in a received encoded sub data packet group and a corresponding decoding mode, a process in which the destination node receives the data packet is less affected by a sudden network case, and transmission efficiency is not significantly affected.

Abstract: A method and terminal device for reading a system message is provided, including: receiving, by a terminal device, a paging message containing a system message state indication in a discontinuous reception (DRX) period, the terminal device includes a terminal device of which the DRX period is larger than a broadcast control channel (BCCH) modification period; determining, by the terminal device and according to the system message state indication in the paging message, that a system message state changes; reading and recording, by the terminal device, a system message corresponding to a current BCCH modification period, or reading and recording a system message corresponding to a next BCCH modification period immediately adjacent to the BCCH modification period; and communicating by the terminal device according to the read and recorded system message. Thus, the electric quantity of a battery can be saved, so that a UE can reduce power consumption.
